Several Activists Call for Foreign Network Organizations Supporting Papua Referendum to be Disbanded
Hundreds of people joined in the Association of National Activists Network Movement 98, DPP BIMA and the National Movement Defending the Authority of the President & Sovereignty of the Republic of Indonesia urged foreign organizations or parties in the country working for foreigners and supporting the Papuan treason movement to be dissolved immediately.
“We strongly support Mr. President Jokowi to uncover, resolve and crack down on foreign network parties, NGOs working for foreigners to confuse the situation in the country related to Papua and the national political elite, both in government and outside the government which destroys Papua, making Papua a political commodity a political bargaining tool to get a position of power and access to the national economy, “said the contents of the statement of attitude from various elements endorsed by the General Chairmen.
As for the leaders who voiced their anxiety, among them were the General Chairperson of the 98th Activist National Network Movement Activist Anto Kusumayuda, General Chairperson of the Barisan Islam Moderate DPP (BIMA) IR. Dont Mulyana Kurnia, Secretary General of the National Movement Defending the Authority of the President & Sovereignty of the Republic of Indonesia Abdul Salam Nur Ahmad, and the Board of the Presidium Dr. KH Asep Ahmad Hidayat is also an Munik Acik.
They are also committed and feel responsible for the integrity of the Unitary Republic of Indonesia, so as one of the elements of the Indonesian people continues to call for a joint movement namely “National Movement Defending the Authority of the President and Sovereignty of the Republic of Indonesia”. Because, they said, the riots in Papua were motivated to tarnish the authority of President Jokowi and threaten the Republic of Indonesia’s sovereignty.
“Whoever is involved are important officials in the Government? NGO -GO? Politicians in line are hurt? “It must be taken firmly indiscriminately because it has undermined the sovereignty of the Republic of Indonesia if left unchecked will set a bad precedent for the survival of the life of the nation and state going forward,” they said.
In addition, his party invited and called on my brothers all of the people of Indonesia to jointly pray and fight to defend and protect Papua, West Papua from undermining foreign parties who disrupt and promote Papua free from the Unitary Republic of Indonesia, “they explained.
They said, “Foreigners” certainly did not work alone in smoothing the agenda to make Papua riot to control Papua for economic and social political interests. They are foreign agents conspiring with domestic network parties, with organizations or institutions in Papua incessantly propagating Free Papua.
“The issue of Papua has always been used as a political commodity in the national political elite in conducting bargaining in the interests of power and office,” he continued.
Not only that, he continued, there are still NGOs or NGOs in the country that get funding support from foreigners so that they become foreign agents of foreign agents in the country to smooth the agenda of foreign interests at home. One of them is the NGO and the NGO has supported the movement of the Free Papua group.
“These NGOs and NGOs have become traitors to the nation and the state, because there is no donation from foreign program funds to NGOs or free NGOs which have no interest in political objectives of controlling Indonesia, one of which is the problem of Papua,” he concluded.
