It is feared that the national economy will experience a slowdown due to the Corona Virus or Covid-19 pandemic. The DPR was urged to immediately ratify the Omnibus Law on Employment Law which was expected to be able to anticipate the impact of Corona.
The Corona Virus outbreak is spreading again, raising concerns about the potential slowdown in the economy, not only in Indonesia but also in the world. Secretary of the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs Susiwijono said that as a result of Covid-19 or the corona virus, economic growth in China would decline. Some countries have also been affected if economic growth in China has decreased.
For example if the decline in economic growth in China by one percent, it will have an impact on Indonesia. It is estimated that Indonesia’s economic growth will drop 0.2 percent to 0.3 percent.
For this reason, the government is still monitoring the development of the Corona virus while preparing for anticipation. Anticipation is made by speeding up the ratification of the Cipta Karya Omnibus Law Bill. Not only that, the government also began to provide various assistance at the beginning of the year to anticipate bad things that would happen.
The impact of this virus will more or less affect the economy of the workers or laborers. Because of efforts to stay at home , forced most factories, trading businesses to MSMEs closed. Not denying, the chaotic situation caused by the COVID-19 virus was also felt by many parties. Indeed, it is not entirely a matter of laborers and workers. but, judging from their priority scale, it is now the priority. The economic turmoil that resulted in rising food prices and various needs was increasingly suffocating.
The realization of the Omnibus Law Cipta Karya is considered an ideal step that is able to boost the Indonesian economy, one of which is in terms of investment. Through the current government Omnibus Law, all forms of regulations which hinder or complicate investment will be facilitated.
