CIDISS. The Asian Games event is the biggest sporting event for Asian regional countries, therefore every country is guaranteed to send their best athletes to win the title. And the safety of athletes and success is the responsibility of all of us. One of them is the TNI-Polri.
TNI Commander Marshal Hadi Tjahjanto stated that the TNI-Polri were ready to secure the holding of the 2018 Asian Games. The TNI and Polri would continue to succeed and provide security to all participants who came from abroad including the Indonesian people who watched.
Security is carried out not only at Asian Games venues, but in all parts of Indonesia, including prevention efforts to prevent Karhutla from occurring. The Indonesian National Institute of Indonesia has also been mapping areas prone to criminal and other crimes.
Hadi said, for the time being the strength of the personnel deployed came from three codices, namely Kodam Jaya, Kodam II / Sriwijaya and Kodam III / Siliwangi. There are also safeguards for VVIP country guests.
Earlier, Indonesian Deputy Chief of Police Commissioner General Syafruddin said the committee would involve more than 60 thousand security personnel. Security personnel consist of police, TNI, including civilian elements.
Syafruddin said the personnel would be placed proportionally in Palembang and in DKI Jakarta. He also ensured that both Jakarta and Palembang had begun to anticipate crime by holding simulations of a number of security threats.
Hopefully the steps taken by the TNI will make the 2018 Asian Games run safely and smoothly according to our expectations, the people of Indonesia. And Indonesia can give the best.
