Jakarta – A political observer from Bung Karno University stated that the public must support the transition of power from President Jokowi to the elected President Prabowo Subianto in order to maintain national stability. In addition, the public must fully support the priority programs of the elected President Prabowo Subianto so that the wheels of government can run smoothly and there is continuity for programs that directly impact the grassroots.

This was stated by Political Observer from Bung Karno University, Faisyal Chaniago, when asked by the media regarding the government transition in Jakarta.

According to him, all parties must support this government transition, including political elites, so that there is no “political shock” and Indonesia can remain stable during this period.

All parties, including political elites, must support the handover of government leadership. Do not disrupt the transition from Jokowi to Prabowo so that Indonesia can navigate this crucial period, said Faisyal.

The elected President’s mandate, Prabowo Subianto, must also receive full support from the public, including: strengthening the Pancasila ideology, food independence (self-sufficiency), energy, infrastructure development (Indonesia Centric), increasing job opportunities, and downstreaming, he explained.

President Jokowi’s program must be continued by the elected President Prabowo Subianto so that it doesn’t end up like before, where changing Presidents also meant changing policies, he said.

Meanwhile, the Director General of Budget at the Ministry of Finance, Isa Rachmatawarta, stated that there are 8 spending priorities in line with the elected President Prabowo Subianto, which have been aligned with the national priorities in the Government Work Plan (RKP) 2025.

Isa explained that the first priority is to strengthen the ideology of Pancasila and human rights. This program will be implemented through the education sector budget.

Next, the second is the program to enhance national defense and security and to promote national independence through self-sufficiency in food, energy, water, sharia economy, and digital economy.

The third priority, said Isa, is the development of infrastructure and the improvement of quality job opportunities, encouraging entrepreneurship, and developing the creative industry.

The fourth program focuses on strengthening human resource development, science, technology, education, health, achievements, and gender equality.

Fifth, continue downstream processing and develop resource-based industries to enhance added value, he said.

Sixth, the program builds from the village and from the ground up for economic growth, equity, and poverty eradication. The program will be funded by the budget for infrastructure and social welfare.

Seventh, strengthening political and legal reforms, combating corruption, drugs, and gambling. This program is funded by the defense budget.

Eighth, it is a program to strengthen the alignment of harmonious living with the environment, nature, and culture, as well as to enhance tolerance, which will be funded by the education sector budget, he concluded.
