Two villages was claimed by neighbor Province
Choirul Fuadi, Central Kalimantan, CIDISS – Dispute of district in Indonesia often happens, such as dispute about border of district between Central Kalimantan and neighbor province. It was because border line among central Kalimantan, west Kalimantan and east Kalimantan is on unclear status.
For example, two villages in Murung Raya (MURA) regency, Central Kalimantan was claimed by neighbor province. They are Bukit Batu village or Topus Village, Uut Murung district, and Tumbang Tohan village, Seribu Riam district.
As a consequence of it, two villages are on dangerous status. They will lose from map of region of Murung Raya regency.
Like quote in Borneo News (12/5/2015), two villages were claimed by neighbor province. Topus village was claimed as region of Mahakam Hulu regency, east Kalimantan. Then, Tumbang Tohan village was claimed by West Province.
According to Doni, member of Regional House of Representatives Murung Raya, he said that the line border between Central Kalimantan and both West and East Kalimantan is on unclear status. So, both two villages in border area also unclear belong to where district administrative.
For this case, he hope, government can solve this dispute about border line. Then, status of both villages more clearly and there is no claimed each other.
“Actually, Topus village and Tumbang Tohan belong to region of Murung Raya regency,” said him.
But, he added, better, each regional government to discuss about line border. Moreover, if the reasons of the claim because nature resource potency.
