Jakarta –You definitely know how malignancy of cancer disease, don’t you? Like the cancer who has abnormal cells continue to divide without control and are able to invade other cells and tissues, over time will attack the closest and move away damaged areas. If not treated right away, it becomes killer cells. Yes as well as drug syndicate, which if not handled properly, it could damage future generations in Indonesia.
This assumption presumably that should be believed by Indonesian government to apply an emergency drugs, couple weeks ago. Rapid flow of drug trafficking that flooded the various regions in the world, including Indonesia must be fortified to prevent them from living in the land of the motherland. Overriding, Indonesian government provide reward to loss of life of the drugs prisoners.
Destruction process by cancer cells were already plagued in Indonesia. Trend drug syndicate shows increase in the last 5 years. A survey of The National Narcotics Agency (BNN) with several universities, claim percentage of drug trafficking at Indonesia in 2005 is 1.7 percent, 1.99 percent in 2008, 2.2 percent in 2011, and estimated until 2015 will rise to 2.8 percent, or about 5.8 up to 6 million people of population in Indonesia.
Even, during 2014, BNN has revealed 397 narcotics syndicate with 583 suspects, which consist of 552 Indonesians and 31 foreigners. Not only that, in early January 2015, BNN released the largest smuggling of methamphetamine narcotics types into Indonesia by international drug syndicate.
At least 862,603.1 grams of methamphetamine from China was sent to Indonesia by sea were seized BNN in collaboration with several other state law enforcement, one of them is China’s National Narcotics Control Commission (NNCC) and the Hong Kong Police.
Like getting twice the punch jet, “Among all the countries in ASEAN, Indonesia is the biggest losses, from Rp100 trillion loss in ASEAN, approximately Rp48 trillion is the Indonesian losses due to the drug business,” said head of BNN, General Anang Iskandar.
The method of intensive therapy by providing antibody through domestic law enforcement, up to amputation of the affected parts would have done. External treatment by doing a cross-border cooperation, particularly in the ASEAN region was not denied should be encouraged, in order to save the nation’s vital organs.
“Therefore, each country in the ASEAN region must be able to hold the rate of abuse and drug trafficking,” said Director of Information Dissemination and BNN, Gun Gun Siswadi. Whether we realize it or not, behind the success of BNN uncovering the syndicate of drug dealers crime, on the other hand it shows the drug trafficking syndicate in Indonesia is getting bigger and makes Indonesia as hot spot for drug dealers by exploiting the loopholes that realized still less secure.
