CIDISS – The case of child abuse in Kotawaringin Timur regency, Central Kalimantan Province should have serious concern by many parties because every year the case increases significantly. It is delivered by Head of Centre of service child and women empowerment (P2TP2A) Kotawaringin Timur, Forisni Aprilista.
“Actually, there are many cases since ago, but P2TP2A just recently formed and not many people know about us, then few people come to us for service and protection. Now, P2TP2A has been known by people broadly, then we accept many report and also guidance,” said forisni such quote in Antarakalteng.com
Forisni said, P2TP2A had been formed since 2013, the party seriously concern to cases of abuse on woman and child. Forisni also head of LSM (Civil Society Organization) Lentera Kartini give hand to woman and child through abuse.
Forisni assume, the number of child case that reported to P2TP2A every year increase. In 2014, there were 18 cases, average about child sexual abuse. There were 25 cases in 2015. And during January till middle of December 2016, there are 32 cases.
“Generally about sexual abuse and abuse in family, then it need our concern,” said forisni
The party continues giving information to many societies, especially women. He hopes, the child abuse will decrease, and then child can be good person.
Parent and teacher need to have same perception toward this case, because they have big role in protect child and give good care to them.
