Ahead of the 44th AIPA Session, the Indonesian Parliament is Committed to Facilitating the Meeting as much as possible

Very high appreciation should be given to all parties who have contributed and actively participated in further finalizing all preparations for the implementation of the 44th AIPA General Assembly. In fact, the DPR RI also expressed their strong commitment to continue to provide maximum meeting facilities for the good of all ASEAN member countries.
The Bureau for Inter-Parliamentary Cooperation of the Secretariat General (Setjen) of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia (DPR RI) has held meetings with several parties including embassies (Embassy Briefing) in order to further finalize preparations for the holding of the 44 th ASEAN Inter- Parliamentary Union (AIPA) which will be held in the Special Capital Region (DKI) Jakarta from 5 to 11 August 2023.
According to the Head of the KSAP Bureau of the Secretariat General of the DPR RI, Endang TD Retnoastuti, the Embassy Briefing is routinely carried out as a manifestation or effort of how Indonesia as the host of the 44th APIA General Assembly is able to make very thorough preparations.
Reflecting on the success of this nation in leading international-level events and also hosting them, such as the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) and Group of Twenty (G20) events some time ago, now Indonesia is again trusted by the world to host and leading other international events.
No half-hearted, indeed all preparations have also been carried out very carefully and full of maximum calculations. It is known that currently all the preparations that have been made by the country have reached more than 80% (percent) including various kinds of readiness so that all progress has been carried out very well.
Of course, to further finalize all the preparatory processes, many parties continue to intensify this because the 44th AIPA General Assembly itself is only a few days away. It is also undeniable that the implementation of an Embassy Briefing is very important because considering that the embassy itself is the foundation of the delegates for various matters that are arrangement in nature, one of which is to be able to properly manage logistical readiness.
However, not only focusing on discussing how to arrange or prepare regarding preparations on logistical factors, but in the implementation of the Embassy Briefing, all other forms of readiness that have been carried out by Indonesia as the host of the 44th AIPA General Assembly have been explained, such as accommodation factors, vehicles and meeting rooms.
The KSAP Bureau of the Secretariat General of the DPR RI also added that they had prepared a Liaison Officer (LO) who would be tasked with providing assistance to all country delegations present so that they could participate in the implementation of AIPA smoothly and also so that the mission of each country could be maximized. reached at the international meeting in Jakarta.
As stated by the KSAP Bureau of the Secretariat General of the DPR RI, that this nation continues to carry the spirit of collaboration and also upholds the active participation of parliamentary member countries throughout ASEAN in the implementation of the 44th AIPA General Assembly, and also so that the international agenda welcomed enthusiastically by all parties involved.
Various series of events have indeed been maximally prepared by Indonesia as the host, such as the series of General Debates to committee and bilateral meetings. The Chairperson of the DPR RI Inter-Parliamentary Cooperation Agency (BKSAP), Fadli Zon also enthusiastically revealed that all the preparations made by this nation to hold a prestigious event went very smoothly and satisfactorily.
Moreover, during the implementation of the 44th AIPA General Assembly this year, the role of women in the Women Parliamentarians of the ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly (WAIPA) was also an important focus of discussion. Because with the strengthening of the role of women as parties who are included in the main stakeholders for development and political decision-making in the ASEAN Region, it is hoped that this will also become a new breakthrough to have a significant impact.
In all forms of preparation and how extraordinary enthusiasm Indonesia has, this nation firmly believes that the implementation of the 44th AIPA General Assembly will be a very valuable momentum in continuing to encourage even closer cooperation among all member countries. in the ASEAN region.
The maximum meeting facilities for the implementation of the 44th AIPA General Assembly are all being prepared and currently these preparations have been carried out very carefully by various parties in Indonesia as the host.
