The entire people of Papua warmly welcome, full of enthusiasm and give a very high appreciation for how the efforts that have been intensified by the Government during the era of President Joko Widodo’s leadership so far in accelerating development in Cenderawasih Land.
The efforts of the Government of the Republic of Indonesia in continuing to accelerate development in Papua continue to receive appreciation from various parties and various groups. This high appreciation is because the efforts to accelerate development carried out by the Government of Indonesia are increasingly supporting the progress of the region.
However, it is not only limited or simply because it is able to continue to support regional progress in Papua, but the acceleration of development in Cenderawasih Earth continues to be able to increase the welfare of all people in Indonesia’s easternmost region.
So far, one of the many efforts that are being intensified by the central government, which also maintains continuous coordination with the local Regional Government (Pemda) is to intensify infrastructure development. Several infrastructure developments that have been proven to help improve people’s welfare include the construction of the Youtefa Bridge in Jayapura City, which is a realization of the Indonesian Government’s hope that the Cenderawasih Earth region will not be left behind by other regions.
Regarding the efforts and strong commitment that the Government of Indonesia continues to show in accelerating development in Papua, a resident of Welarek Village, Yalimo Regency, Anis Wayag gave a very high appreciation of how the execution of accelerated infrastructure development in Cenderawasih Earth was, one of one of them is with the construction of the Trans-Papua road.
It is undeniable that before the infrastructure built by the Government, in the form of the Trans-Papua road, the people had to spend their time even up to one month if they wanted to travel, namely to be able to walk from Kampung Welarek to Elelim, the capital city of Yalimo. .
The reality and also the difficulties that have been felt and inevitably had to be overcome by these people, have now been resolved thanks to the infrastructure development carried out by the Government of Indonesia, especially since the era of the leadership of the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo (Jokowi) who has also committed to replace The development paradigm in Indonesia is no longer Java-centric, but becomes Indonesia-centric so that all corners of the archipelago can be touched by development and further reduce the gap between regions in the country.
Now, since the construction of the Trans-Papua, the trips taken by the community when they want to travel or move from their village to another place have been very successfully cut down very significantly, even trips that previously had to be taken for one month can now be only one day’s travel time.
Since the beginning, the central government itself has always made efforts to prioritize accelerated development, including infrastructure development in Papua, especially regarding the Trans-Papua road, because it has proven to be very capable of facilitating access for the community to carry out all their activities.
Then, for traders or entrepreneurs, they admit that with the existence of the Trans-Papua road, it is very possible to save on shipping costs (postage) for goods and also of course save more on the use of fuel oil (BBM) because the goods to be sent will be faster. arrived. By cutting the delivery time of these goods, it will also have an impact on them, they will get far more profits.
Apart from that, on the other hand, with the new roads and bridges that have been built by the Government of Indonesia, it has also made it easier for the people of Papua when they want to gain access to certain health facilities (faskes). Currently, people can come directly to the community health center (puskesmas) or hospital much more quickly.
The General Secretary of the Barisan Merah Putih Papua Province, Wusabek Wantik then also gave his very high appreciation to how the Indonesian Government’s efforts to continue to accelerate infrastructure development, especially those that are currently being carried out during President Jokowi’s administration.
According to him, now all access to transportation in Papua Province and also West Papua Province is very good, one might even say that it is not inferior at all to transportation access in Java, be it transportation activities on land, sea or air, all of which are good. Including the markets are already crowded again.
Efforts to accelerate development in Papua, which the Government continued to intensify during the era of the leadership of the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo, are increasingly showing very positive results for the local community. Therefore, all members of the community in Bumi Cenderawasih welcomed them very well and gave their highest appreciation to these development efforts.
