The Presence of Security Forces in Papua’s New Autonomous Region Optimizes the Protection of the Republic of Indonesia’s Sovereignty

The construction of the TNI headquarters in the Papua New Guinea will be increasingly capable of optimizing the safeguarding of the sovereignty of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia. With that, the country will also become safer, and also on the other hand, the people will also increasingly feel that there is a much better increase in welfare.
So far, the entire security apparatus, starting from the Indonesian National Police (Polri), the State Intelligence Agency (BIN) to the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) have been very active in maintaining and protecting all areas in the country from anyone’s threats.
In fact, various ways to increase the strong commitment to always protect and protect all regions in the archipelago are reflected in the concrete steps taken by the TNI.
Regarding this effort, the TNI Commander, Admiral TNI Yudo Margono emphasized that his party was building headquarters in a number of new autonomous regions (DOB) in Papua. Not without reason, of course it aims to be able to maintain the sovereignty of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI).
So it is very clear that the presence and also the addition of several headquarters in many new autonomous regions is aimed at further enhancing the safeguarding of the sovereignty of all regions in Indonesia.
Regarding the details of the addition of the TNI headquarters, Commander Yudo explained that his party would add regional military commands (kodam) in Papua, including those in Central Papua and South Papua Provinces, both of which are included in the division area of Papua Province. .
It is not half-hearted, especially in the Nabire region, Central Papua Province, there will also be an increase in various TNI headquarters from all dimensions. There is a Naval Headquarters in Nabire which is already Lanal (TNI AL Base) type D, which will then be upgraded to type C.
This also includes the Indonesian Air Force (AU) Air Base which will also be like that, namely experiencing an increase. In this area, where previously there was only a District Military Command (Kodim), it was later upgraded to a Military Resort Command (Korem). Moreover, once the Provincial Government (Pemprov) is established, the TNI apparatus will automatically follow suit.
Even so, however, the increase in the headquarters of the TNI must also be accompanied and be able to fulfill certain kinds of requirements first, so that in the future it will also continue to be adjusted.
Discussing how the needs of the personnel themselves, so far in this area have been maximized and optimized, namely through various types of Non-commissioned Officer and also Private Private education every 6 (six) months. So that in the future there will only be a few shifts in personnel.
As for the need for new land in Central Papua Province itself, which will be very useful for the construction or improvement of the Indonesian National Armed Forces headquarters, coordination has also been carried out with the Acting (Acting) Governor. Checks also continue to be carried out periodically in order to ascertain whether the land is available or not.
It doesn’t just get there, but to be able to expedite all efforts to increase security guarding in the Papua New Guinea, coordination is also urgently needed to be carried out with various other parties such as local indigenous peoples.
The TNI Commander, Admiral H Yudo Margono admitted that his party would add TNI personnel to Papua to further strengthen the New Autonomous Region (DOB) there, particularly in 3 (three) locations, namely South Papua, Central Papua and Papua Mountains. Also included, his party will build the TNI Corps Headquarters (Mako).
All efforts to further strengthen the protection of sovereignty on Cenderawasih Earth will certainly not be successful and run as expected if it is not accompanied by the assistance of many parties. Therefore, the synergy of all parties in the security apparatus such as the TNI, Polri and BIN is very important and must continue to be strengthened so that the sovereignty and integrity of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia is truly created.
It is absolutely undeniable that if, for example, synergy and coordination can be carried out very well and involve a large number of various components of society throughout the country, then the welfare of the community will also be realized and increased.
If there is strong unity between all the security forces and also with the local Regional Government (Pemda) in order to jointly be able to build the community, then the people themselves will also be able to experience the results or the real form of this integration so that their welfare can be much more guaranteed .
Optimizing the safeguarding of sovereignty in the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI) is very important because if not, then the country itself will be threatened by various irresponsible parties. Therefore, the security forces need good synergy, to the addition of building headquarters or adding additional personnel so that people’s welfare can also be realized well.
