CIDISS – State Islamic Institute (IAIN) Palangkaraya is the only one Islamic College on Central Kalimantan Province.
State Islamic Institute of Palangkaraya addressed at Jl G Obos Palangkaraya, it was previously set to be IAIN by President Joko Widodo at the State Palace on December 19, 2014.
Not long after change from State Islamic Institute (STAIN) to be IAIN Palangkaraya, the development program continues by the largest Islamic College in central kalimantan. One with programs is the addition of graduate programs.
Saturday (13/2/2016), postgraduate program add courses master of Islamic studies. This is launched by the Director General of the Islamic educational, the ministry of religion Indonesian Republic Kamaruddin Amin.
Rector IAIN Palangka Raya, Ibnu Elmi A.S. Pelu said that the addition of this Islamic education master’s degree program in response to the needs of increased access and quality Islamic education for teachers in the Ministry of Religion and educational board.
Previously, the graduate program at IAIN Palangka raya has opened three other programs, i.e. the master of Management Studies, Islamic Economics, and master’s degree in family law.
Permit organization of Islamic religious education courses for the postgraduate master’s degree program of IAIN Palangkaraya issued by Directorate Islamic education on February 12, 2016. By the permission, IAIN Palangkaraya, allowed to run the regular lectures.
