Bali — So far, the success of holding the IESF Bali 14Th WEC 2022 organized by PBESI has indeed achieved many very proud achievements, starting from the development of sports tourism, being able to produce world-achieving athletes, being recorded in world records to raising awareness of the importance of equality gender.

The Daily Chairperson of the Indonesian Esports Executive Board (PBESI), Bambang Sunarwibowo said that the success of organizing world esports events held by Indonesia, in the future will even be able to make this nation a world esports barometer.

“The holding of the Indonesia Esports Summit: Bali 14th World Esports Championships 2022 is one of PBESI’s most important agendas this year. PBESI is optimistic, Indonesia Esports Summit: Bali 14th World Esports Championships will be a strong foundation for Indonesia in the future as one of the world’s esports centers and barometers,” he said.

Furthermore, he stated that the Esports world championship on the Island of the Gods had a huge impact on increasing sports tourism, so that it could help improve the economic and tourism sector in Indonesia.

“This will help especially sports tourism, which has been experiencing the Covid-19 pandemic and a decline so that we can contribute to the world of economy and tourism in Indonesia,” said Bambang Sunarwibowo.

Apart from that, with the IESF Bali 14th WEC 2022, it also means the concrete contribution of the Indonesian people in the development of the digital industry, especially Esports.

“This implementation can be a milestone for our nation which can contribute to the development of the digital industry, especially Esports,” continued the PBESI Daily Chair.

On the other hand, President of the International Esports Federation (IESF), Vlad Marinescu gave PBESI a huge appreciation for being able to successfully organize the world’s largest outdoor esports event to record it as a world record.

“And here there is also a record from the Guinness World of Records as the largest esports event in the world according to the number of participants,” he explained.

Vlad also admitted that with the world esports event, his contribution was very big in being able to educate the character of an esports athlete to become a better person.

“Esports is the newest sport, and the biggest, fastest sport today and has a way of working that is similar to traditional sports in terms of its value to be able to build us all healthier. We must continue to learn from traditional sports regarding hard training and mutual respect, these are all forms of responsibility,” he added.

On another occasion, it turned out that IESF Bali 14Th WEC 2022 was also able to provide a lot of awareness about the importance of the spirit of gender equality.

Therefore, Esports Sisterhood was also formed, one of which was initiated by PBESI.
