President Jokowi Welcomes the IAF II and HLF MSP Delegation at the Welcoming Dinner
Bali – President Joko Widodo welcomed the delegation of the Second Indonesia Africa Forum (IAF) and the High-Level Forum on Multi-Stakeholder Partnerships (HLF MSP) at an event held at the Intercontinental Bali Resort.
In his speech, President Jokowi welcomed the delegates of the two international forums.
“Welcome to Bali, Indonesia.” Thank you all for your presence at this second Indonesia-Africa Forum. “This forum is held to advance inclusive and sustainable global development,” said President Jokowi in Bali, Sunday (September 1).
The head of state continued that Indonesia will remain committed to strengthening relations and cooperation with African countries.
“Indonesia remains committed to strengthening cooperation and solidarity with countries in the African region, and this will continue to be pursued by the next administration,” he added.
On that occasion, President Jokowi also introduced the elected president, Prabowo Subianto.
“I would also like to introduce the elected President of Indonesia, who will be inaugurated next month and will lead Indonesia in the future,” said President Jokowi.
This Gala Dinner is an important moment for Indonesia and African countries to strengthen the good relationships that have been established over time.
The meeting in Bali is expected to produce various strategic collaborations that will benefit both parties, especially in achieving inclusive and sustainable global development goals.
President Jokowi hopes that all invited guests can enjoy the dishes that have been prepared.
