MAMUJU – Department of Industry, Trade, Cooperatives and SMEs (Disperiindagkop) West Sulawesi Province, claimed that they not yet know and accept the regulations Ministry of Commerce (Kemendag) on the prohibition of selling used clothing (RB) because can be spread of disease.
“We have not received a letter or official notification of the Ministry of Commerce on the prohibition of selling used clothes,” said Chief Disperindagkop West Sulawesi Province, H. Asir Mangopo in Mamuju (18/2).
If the Ministry of Trade regulations have been accepted, Disperindagkop ready to execute the Ministry of Commerce rule to prohibition of selling RB. The prohibition of selling used clothing will be consulted with various parties including Disperindagkop districts in West Sulawesi Province.
The prohibition of selling used clothing is apparently gets a reaction and rejection of RB entrepreneurs who exist in West Sulawesi because. They said that if RB sales can’t sell RB so, their business will be collapse and looking for new employment is very difficult.
Mukmin, one of RB entrepreneur in Mamuju said that he did not agree with the prohibition of selling RB without any wise solution from the government. He said that the Ministry of Trade policy does not favor small communities. The government must be have solution for us.
