Aceh — Young and Excellent Aceh Aneuk (AMANAH) continues to explore the potential of students’ sports through various means, including the implementation of Futsal and Basketball tournaments.
The futsal and basketball tournaments took place in the SAFETY Cup 2024, in which the participants consisted of dozens of high school teams and peers from different regions in the province of Aceh.
The Vice-Chairman of the All-Indonesia Basketball Association (Perbasi) of the province of Aceh, Nawalul Faizin, said that the strategic program of the Government of RI through the initiative of the National Intelligence Agency (BIN) was very beneficial.
“If I think that the activities done by SAFANAH are very beneficial for high school children, this is embracing the young people in Aceh,” he said.
This year’s tournament was also very celebratory, seen by the enthusiasm of the participants who even volunteered to come from their respective areas.
What the reactions of the participants are is a real proof that the SAFE sports program brings many positive benefits.
“So, their positive value will be far from activities that are not beneficial to them and the value that we can draw from this, they can learn how young people in developing themselves, especially in sports,” said Nawalul.
He expressed his optimism that, through the SAFETY event, the area’s sports potential would be increasingly improved.
“I feel that for the potential (basketball in Aceh) ahead it will be better. The quality of the player is good, good, just missing us a few in the posture we lose. If the size of Asia is different from that of Europe, Nawalul is optimistic.
Meanwhile, Opanindo FC Chief Coach Aulia Aditama (28) expressed his admiration for the BIN initiation program because it has made the potential of the young Aceh players grow.
“So far, the event in Aceh, SAFETY is among the best.
Senada, Hendra Carnos as the referee of the match also judged that such an event is an important thing as a positive activity for the young generation.
“Thank you for the SAFETY. It’s very good for our athletes in Aceh. With the presence of this SAFE event, young people have activities like futsal, avoiding online gambling and drugs,” he said.
