The State Intelligence Agency (BIN) initiated a regional youth human resources (HR) development program, especially for Aceh, known as AMANAH, an abbreviation of ‘Aneuk Muda Aceh Excellent and Great’.

The program aims to improve the quality of youth human resources in the area so they are able to compete on the national and global stage. This initiative is not only a strategic step to advance Aceh, but also reflects the government’s commitment to paying attention to the potential of the young generation as pillars of national development.

Chairman of the BIN Strategy Analysis Board (DAS), Lt. Gen. TNI (Ret.) Dr. Muhammad Munir, explained that the AMANAH program has seven superior sectors which are the main focus.

One of these sectors is agriculture, which aims to empower young farmers throughout Aceh. This initiative goes beyond just training, as the program creates an ecosystem that allows Aceh’s young generation to innovate and increase productivity in the agricultural sector.

Munir also emphasized the importance of synergy between the AMANAH program and other programs that are in line, such as the Papua Youth Creative Hub (PYCH). It is hoped that collaboration between these two programs can strengthen national food security.

Likening Indonesia to a Garuda bird, he explained that the east wing (Papua) and west wing (Aceh) must be healthy and strong to ensure the Garuda bird can fly high. This shows great vision and hope for Aceh’s potential in the national economy.

Main Director of PT. Pupuk Indonesia, Rahmad Pribadi, also gave a positive view of the program. After visiting the Amanah Building in Ladong, he expressed his belief that AMANAH was a very important strategic step for the progress of youth in Aceh.

He emphasized that developing quality human resources among the younger generation is a long-term investment that will have a positive impact on the nation’s future.

Rahmad Pribadi appreciated the initiative from BIN and stated that PT. Pupuk Indonesia is ready to collaborate in developing superior and great young people, especially in the agricultural sector.

This agenda not only provides training and education, but also opens access to developing skills relevant to industry needs. With the experience and expertise possessed by PT. Pupuk Indonesia, it is hoped that this program can make a significant contribution to the development of Acehnese youth.

In the context of economic empowerment, a young entrepreneur from Aceh, Almer Hafis, revealed that AMANAH plays an important role in encouraging Aceh’s economy through entrepreneurship training.

According to him, well-targeted targets and the presence of resource persons who are experts in their fields greatly contribute to improving the regional economy. Hafis reminded that the economy in Aceh could develop faster than in urban areas if it was supported in an appropriate manner.

Intervention from the central government in terms of human resources is considered necessary to form an entrepreneurial spirit and independence among Aceh’s young people. With this support, it is hoped that Aceh’s young generation will be able to explore creativity and realize businesses at the national level. Apart from that, the AMANAH program has proven its capabilities with many participants taking part in various activities held.

The enthusiasm of Acehnese young people for the AMANAH program is very high. The large number of participants involved in training and other activities shows that they have a great interest in developing themselves.

The program also provides a platform for them to collaborate, exchange ideas and build networks that are beneficial for their future. This is a positive signal that Aceh’s young generation is ready to contribute to regional development.

Hafis added that the program provides many benefits, including providing skills in the entrepreneurial industry. Through the training held, young Acehnese people gain the knowledge needed to compete.

The training covers important aspects in developing MSMEs, from business management to digital marketing. The opportunity for participants to practice skills through business simulations is also very helpful.

The AMANAH program is expected to not only focus on training, but also on developing marketing networks and access to financing for young entrepreneurs. This aims to expand the market and increase the competitiveness of local products, both at national and international levels. Thus, AMANAH is committed to providing comprehensive support to young Acehnese so they are able to compete in various fields.

Overall, AMANAH is one of the leading strategic programs that shows how the government can encourage economic growth through human resource development.

With continuous training and development, it is hoped that young people in Aceh can become the nation’s next generation who are superior, independent and ready to face global challenges. This program confirms great hopes for Aceh’s future, where young people will play a key role in regional development and progress.

Seeing the success that AMANAH has initiated, it cannot be denied that this program will continue to have a positive impact on the people of Aceh. Support from various parties, including the government and the private sector, is very necessary to ensure the sustainability of this program.

With support and active participation from all components of society, AMANAH has the potential to produce a young generation of Acehnese who are not only superior, but also highly competitive at the national and international levels.

This initiative underscores the importance of collaboration in human resource development that can change the face of the regional economy and create better opportunities for the future of young people in Aceh.
