Developing the Aceh coffee industry optimally and optimally, the Aceh Youth Creative Hub (AYCH) or Aneuk Muda Aceh Unggul dan Besar (AMANAH) provides adequate facilities, namely electric bicycles for mobile baristas.

By providing qualified facilities from AMANAH in the form of electric bicycles, baristas will be able to use them to sell around, so that this will further encourage the development of the coffee industry in Aceh.

Of course, the coffee industry in Aceh will continue to develop if this extraordinary potential receives good support, one of which is by providing adequate facilities, such as what AMANAH has done by providing electric bicycles, making it possible for baristas to boost sales by traveling around.

The flagship strategic program of the Government of the Republic of Indonesia (RI) through the initiation of the State Intelligence Agency (BIN) in the context of community empowerment, specifically targeting the young generation of the nation’s successors, is developing a very useful innovation, namely electric bicycle products that citizens can use for various purposes, such as running a mobile coffee shop or transporting gallons.

The creation and development of an innovative product in the form of an electric bicycle is the result of collaboration with a student group at Syiah Kuala University (USK), Banda Aceh. According to the Coordinator of the Student Team from the USK Engineering Department, Dimas Wardana, they designed the electric bicycle with strong materials.

It doesn’t quite get there, but the innovation they made in making the electric bicycle is able to produce enough power to propel the vehicle while allowing it to carry heavy loads.
If you look at the shape of the frame and engine, the electric bicycle that AMANAH developed is very suitable for walking in urban and rural areas.

As for the work on the electric bicycle product itself, everything actually happened in a workshop at the flagship strategic program initiated by BIN. In fact, not only does it provide a workshop, but AYCH also covers all raw materials, equipment, premises and all other team needs.
The plan is that the AMANAH Team will make several electric bicycles including product innovations for transporting goods, namely coffee carts to gallon carts. With this innovation, it will further help the development of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).

All stages of the production of the electric bicycle innovation that AMANAH carried out used heavy and sophisticated equipment, as proof of the seriousness of the Government’s flagship strategic program through the BIN initiative which really seeks to improve the economy of local residents.
Moreover, the area nicknamed Rencong Country is actually quite widely known for its coffee industry. Some evidence of how vast the potential of Aceh’s coffee industry is is the large number of coffee lovers in various shops, but apparently there are still not many coffee sellers or even baristas who are able to provide mobile services with mobile carts except only in big cities.

Therefore, because Aceh itself is actually an area rich in coffee products, AMANAH is therefore committed to being able to continue to develop and encourage local coffee products to continue to progress, one of which is by creating innovations in bicycles. electricity to help with marketing.

AMANAH’s efforts to continue to encourage the improvement and development of the coffee industry in the area nicknamed Veranda of Mecca are not only through one activity or step, namely the manufacture of electric bicycles, but also recently implemented a barista competition program.

In the AMANAH barista competition, participants underwent a strict selection, including receiving training in a bootcamp. The main aim of holding the barista competition is to be able to increase the capacity and competence of young Acehnese baristas, and even contribute to raising the potential of the local coffee industry to the national and even international stage.

One of the judges for the barista competition, Ari Ichlas Niate, gave very high appreciation for how enthusiastic the participants were in taking part in this positive activity. Moreover, the AYCH event is not just a competition, but also an important gathering for the local barista community.

Muhammad Gaddafi, as one of the participants in the barista competition from Aceh Besar, said that he was very happy because he could contribute and take part in this very positive activity. Because, it is an opportunity to further improve his professionalism, including his friends as young people.

The development of the coffee industry in Aceh recently has continued to occur quite significantly. This was made possible thanks to one of the flagship strategic programs of the Indonesian Government initiated by BIN, namely AMANAH. They even provide many facilities, such as providing electric bicycles for mobile baristas.
