Indonesia as the Axis of Bilateral Cooperation in the HLF MSP Forum

Bali – Indonesia will host the implementation of the Indonesia Africa Forum (IAF) and the High Level Forum Multi Stakeholder Partnership (HLFMSP) in Nusa Dua, Badung Regency, 1-3 September 2024.

The Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs at the 2nd IAF meeting invited heads of state from Africa and hundreds of participants from various circles which were held in the form of meetings of heads of state, panel discussions, exhibitions, business matching, and various other activities.

Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi said that building partnerships is something that cannot be avoided because everyone has similarities in facing complex global challenges.

“Indonesia dares to take the initiative of this forum as a strategy to strengthen inclusive and innovative partnership solidarity in facing global challenges,” he said.

Furthermore, Foreign Minister Retno said that this forum is expected to be able to overcome global development stagnation and bring up innovative ideas to strengthen cooperation between developing and developed countries.

As part of the 2nd IAF series, the first Indonesia-Africa Parliamentary Forum is also planned to be held.

HLF-MSP agenda, including high-level session and cultural performances. The agenda was attended by representatives of government, business world, international organizations, non-governmental organizations, philanthropists and academics.

Meanwhile, the theme of the High Level Forum Multi Stakeholder Partnership (HLF MSP) is Strengthening Multi-Stakeholder Partnerships: Towards Transformative Change.
The HLF MSP discusses a number of things, namely building multi-party partnerships to strengthen South-South and triangular cooperation, Improving Welfare and Sustainability through a sustainable economy. Encouraging development through innovative financing.

Indonesia successfully held the HLF MSP, opening up opportunities for Indonesia to strengthen its position as a bridge for developing countries in various knowledge and practices in overcoming global development stagnation and revitalizing South-South and Triangular Cooperation.

The High Level Forum Multi Stakeholder Partnership (HLF MSP) is an important moment for Indonesia to demonstrate global leadership.
