The security forces of the Republic of Indonesia (RI) continue to intensify efforts to cool the system in facing the 2024 Simultaneous Regional Head Election (Pilkada) so that it runs safely, peacefully and smoothly.
The implementation of the cooling system is very important as a form of effort by the security forces to maintain the stability of order in society (kamtibmas) so that it continues in a conducive manner.
Because, if conduciveness is realized in the 2024 Simultaneous Regional Head Election (Pilkada), then it is not impossible that it will be able to produce a leader who is very qualified and can further advance the region he leads.
The Head of the National Police of the Republic of Indonesia (Kapolri) General Listyo Sigit Prabowo conveyed a number of strategies to secure regional level democratic parties from the National Police, namely one of the efforts was to hold a Cooling System operation.
Not only that, but in order to realize the implementation of the 2024 Simultaneous Regional Elections in which there is no fraud, the security forces have also formed an Anti-Money Politics Task Force and a Peaceful Election Task Force.
The security forces have taken various steps to fully support and create a safe, peaceful and conducive situation during the 2024 Simultaneous Regional Head Elections.
Apart from that, the National Police is also establishing a pattern of securing a regional or zoning system which will enable mobilization to all regions in Indonesia as a back up force for the region.
The National Police of the Republic of Indonesia has also collaborated with the Indonesian National Army (TNI) to synergize in carrying out its duties and functions, and synergy has also been realized with regional election organizers such as the General Election Commission (KPU) and the Election Supervisory Body (Bawaslu) in carrying out tasks in the field .
The National Police also often hold focus group discussions (FGD) or public dialogues as well as joint prayers and also declarations of peaceful regional elections. To further support the cooling system efforts, the construction of national houses in 34 Regional Police Forces (Polda) was also realized as a forum for collaboration with various elements such as the community, youth, students, community organizations (ormas) and religious organizations to prevent the problem of polarization among residents.
So that together we will be able to solve or prevent various forms of problems that could arise and cause the impact of national disintegration.
It is also important that the ranks of the security apparatus continue to be very strongly committed to upholding the principle of neutrality in the context of regional political contestation because a joint declaration has been made with Bawaslu.
Meanwhile, the Directorate of Community Development (Ditbinmas) of Polda Metro Jaya is also preparing various security measures ahead of the 2024 Simultaneous Regional Head Election, namely establishing a cooling system to keep the security and social security situation conducive.
Dirbinmas Polda Metro Jaya, Police Commissioner (Kombes Pol) Badya Wijaya explained that one form of the cooling system they are implementing is by inviting the community to organize a siskamling or environmental security system in the RT and RW environment because it is able to improve the security and order situation among the residents. .
It is not without reason why the security forces invite the community to carry out security and social security, because if the community-based movement is strong, it will make residents more concerned and moved to maintain social security and order in their respective environments.
There are other activities, namely community meetings and reaching out to teenagers who are just exercising their right to vote. By consulting the residents, we will be able to maintain environmental conduciveness in the community ahead of the regional elections.
Likewise, security forces from the Sumenep Resort Police (Polres) are also trying to implement a cooling system ahead of the 2024 Simultaneous Regional Head Election by visiting and staying in touch with local religious figures.

Currently, various regions in Indonesia are simultaneously awaiting the implementation of the 2024 regional elections. Therefore, at a moment like now, there is usually a stir in society regarding various issues or fake news and hoaxes which could cause commotion and even division among citizens.
Facing this, the participation of religious leaders and local community leaders as well as all elements is very important in efforts to calm the situation and conditions so that there is no turmoil related to political developments in the context of regional level democratic parties.
To always maintain security stability during the 2024 Simultaneous Pilkada stages, security forces are implementing a colling system throughout all sub-districts and Huna villages, inviting the entire community to work together to maintain the security and social security situation.
Intensifying efforts to cool the security system in order to face the 2024 Simultaneous Regional Head Elections (Pilkada) so that nothing happens that damages national unity and security and threatens the conduciveness of security and social security.
