Political reconciliation is important, especially in the current post-General Election momentum. This aims to continue to maintain the national situation so that it remains stable. Of course, if the stability of the national situation can be maintained well, it will also have many good impacts on this country, which starts with political reconciliation first.
How wonderful it would be if all elements of the nation were able to respond to the democratic party with democratic awareness and maturity, so that even after undergoing contestation, after that they immediately entered into a political reconciliation in the interests of much greater national stability.
One of the good impacts of immediately realizing political reconciliation after the 2024 elections is that it will be the key so that investment does not stop on the road or experience stagnation so that the national economy will also be maintained.
Regarding the correlation between political reconciliation and the arrival of investment, which is then able to create stability in the national situation, the General Chair (Ketum) of the Central Management Board of the Indonesian Young Entrepreneurs Association (BPP HIPMI) Akbar Himawan Buchari said that from the start his party had a very clear attitude, namely wants all political party elites (political parties) to carry out reconciliation as soon as possible.
Not only to political party elites, but this appeal was also given directly to Presidential Candidates (Capres) and Vice Presidential Candidates (Cawapres), especially after there was an official determination from the Election organizers, namely the General Election Commission (KPU) some time ago regarding the counting voice.
If seen from the perspective of entrepreneurs, investment in Indonesia actually progressed slowly or experienced a slowdown when the national political situation was heating up, so it is clear that there is a correlation between the two.
Therefore, when the Indonesian KPU has made an official announcement regarding the results of the national valid votes, then the wheels of investment can immediately get back on track again.
To be able to realize this reconciliation, HIPMI as an organization has even officially delivered greetings to the elected President and Vice President (Wapres) based on the results of the Indonesian KPU’s announcement in the 2024 General Election.
The aim of giving these congratulations is to continue to maintain the economy and the flow of national investment so that it is no longer trapped in stagnation as was the case some time ago when the political situation was very heated.
Investment is a very important thing for this nation, because if there is investment activity or incoming investment and capital can come in, it means that the economy in Indonesia can continue to thrive.
Many parties then hope that all political party elites, including the presidential and vice presidential candidates, will be able to immediately realize political reconciliation so that the momentum for stability in the national situation can continue to be maintained.
The Indonesian Young Entrepreneurs Association itself, as an organization, has a strong determination to continue to ensure that there is no longer a political process that actually ends in the cessation of investment activities in the country so that there are no longer any investors who are reluctant to invest their capital.
Meanwhile, Political Communication Observer from Padjadjaran University, Bandung, Suwandi Sumartias, said that reconciliation between all political party coalitions after the 2024 elections is a very good thing to continue to strive for in order to create harmony and harmonization of the political ecosystem in Indonesia.
Apart from that, actually reconciliation itself is something that is very possible for national figures who previously had different camps during the last political contestation.
How important it is to have political reconciliation after the election, apart from that, if you look at it in the field, in fact currently people at the grassroots are already carrying out reconciliation, especially after the official announcement of the vote results by the Indonesian KPU. Many people have accepted the final results of the democratic party.
This is because currently the public has become more intelligent and enlightened in being able to accept the results of the KPU’s announcements, because previously they were also able to access very transparently how to quickly count, which will more or less give an idea of what the final election results will be like.
Since the beginning, with the results of the quick count, which has seen very clearly there are pairs of candidates (paslon) who are able to win quite decisively and have quite a large distance from other competitors, the people have been able to see and understand this.
Moreover, the implementation of the quick count itself is not the first time it has been carried out in Indonesia. This makes the public more educated and able to accept the quick count results as a reference, and in fact they are in accordance with the official announcement from the KPU.
Currently, all elements of the nation, including the political elite, the presidential and vice presidential candidates who are competing on the 2024 political contestation stage, as well as all of society in Indonesia must continue to strive to encourage and realize political reconciliation in order to maintain the national situation to remain stable.
