Bali – Thanks to all kinds of support and facilities that have been provided by PB ESI during the leadership era of General Chair Budi Gunawan, the Indonesian Mobile Legend Bang Bang (MLBB) National Team has finally managed to continue to score wins and win tickets to the Grand Final at the IESF Bali 14th WEC 2022.

The National Team (Timnas) Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) Indonesia has finally officially won a place in the grand final match at the world esports championship titled IESF Bali 14th World Esports Championships 2022.

The ticket to advance to the final match was obtained by the Indonesian National Team after defeating the Cambodian Team in the upper bracket final today, Tuesday (6/12).

It can be said that the game played by the Indonesian National Team was very good, because they were able to steal the score with a 2-1 win.

The reason is, in the first round, the Indonesian national team itself was seen having difficulties with the very aggressive game presented by Cambodia.
How could it not be, because the Cambodian team immediately managed to get first blood in the first round.

But fortunately, the Indonesian national team’s game was balanced with very good defensive techniques, so that in the early game they took the lead.

When the mid-game was running, it turned out that the Cambodian team had gained a lot of important momentum to change the flow of the game so that they dominated.

Finally, in the first half the Cambodian team led with a score of 0-1.
As if not willing to take points and momentum, the Indonesian national team then started the game in the second half much more aggressively.

As a result, the Cambodian team, which at first led, finally had to swallow the bitter pill of defeat by the Indonesian national team with a final score of 2-1.

One of the Indonesian MLBB National Team players, Jabran ‘Branz’ Bagus stated that they were very happy with the result of the victory.

Even so, of course, his party did not immediately feel satisfied and continued to strive so that they were truly able to contribute gold to the country.

“Of course we are happy with the result of the victory over Cambodia. However, we cannot be complacent. We will try our best to get gold,” said Jabran.

Meanwhile, the Coach of the MLBB Indonesian National Team, Aji Wicaksono, revealed that the victory his team had won could not be separated from the contributions of fans and prayers from all Indonesian people.

He also stressed that his team was determined that whoever would be their opponent in the grand final would be able to show their best abilities with the target of getting gold.

“This victory is thanks to the prayers of all Indonesian citizens who have provided support to the Indonesian National Team. Whoever the opponent is in the Grand Final, we are determined to show our best abilities so that the gold target can be achieved,” said Aji.

This truly extraordinary achievement cannot be separated from the role of the Indonesian Esports Executive Board (PB ESI), especially since the leadership era of Gen. Pol (Purn) Budi Gunawan.

He is truly determined to be able to continue advancing the Indonesian esports ecosystem and also PBESI.
“In the next one to five years, PBESI is expected to become an organization to be truly proud of. I hope PBESI can also become the best sports organization compared to other sports,” said Budi Gunawan.

On the other hand, the Deputy Chairperson for PBESI Athletes & Achievements, Yohannes P. Siagian explained that PBESI under the leadership of Budi Gunawan is truly committed to providing excellent coaching and preparation for all esports athletes to score achievements.

Even the coaching that was carried out also covered all aspects from technical to non-technical.
“We also continue to foster and have prepared our athletes regarding non-technical aspects such as time management, diet, communication patterns, and especially building a strong mentality,” said Yohannes.
