CIDISS. The concurrent elections to be held this year are expected to be carried out safely and peacefully. To that end, all stakeholders are required to keep the unity and unity of the nation. In addition, the organizers are also expected to keep their promise to monitor and crack down on any candidate pairs in the campaign. If there are candidate pairs proven to commit fraud, the organizer is expected to take firm action in accordance with the applicable rules.
In the implementation, often the election process stained by a number of cheats, one of which is a black campaign. The black campaign is an attempt to undermine or question a person’s reputation, by issuing negative propaganda. It can be applied to individuals or groups. Common targets are public positions, politicians, political candidates, and activists.
To that end, the election of regional head participants are expected to avoid the black campaign. The campaign is a momentum to offer programs to the community that will be done if elected to head of the region. On the other hand, the campaign is the momentum of arguments, contests and ideas for each candidate pair, making it a good marketing tool for candidates to tell their featured programs.
Before conducting the election, candidates for the elections have committed themselves to peaceful elections, it is hoped that this will not only be ceremonial, but it will be applied in all phases.
