CIDISS. In the implementation of democratic parties throughout the region, it is important for the public to know the quality of the candidates for the regional heads to be elected. For that, the organizers held a campaign for the candidate pairs so that it can be a means for them to convey the vision and mission they have. But apart from that way, the candidates of regional head also have one more way to deliver their superior program, that is through election debate event held by KPU.
The participation of in-depth regional heads is mandatory and may be penalized for all candidates who disagree. This may illustrate how important this debate is. On the other hand, this event needs to be done so that the candidates of regional heads are not biased in delivering their vision and mission. With the debate, it is hoped that the vision, mission, and superior programs delivered during the campaign can be communicated clearly to the public through debate. On the other hand, debating events can also serve as a means of show off the candidates in addressing criticism and communication skills are qualified so that people are more confident of his choice.
But in addition to the candidates for regional heads, the debate also has agility for the community. Through the debate, the public will be more familiar with the personality of the candidates for the regional head. People need to know their future leaders so that people can choose leaders who are clearly capable of leading them. The debate will be a blunder when candidates are unable to prepare themselves so that society will be more antipasti towards the implementation of regional head election.
