Action 212 which was held by the Alumni Brotherhood (PA) 212 and its cronies in order to demand the eradication of corruption is considered to have no clear agenda. The reason is that law enforcement has long since committed to eradicating corruption, so that the demonstration is only considered to be a distraction to take advantage of beautiful dates.
FPI Cs is considered to be looking for attention after its appearance brings the issue of corruption which has faded. Though the mega corruption case is being explored by investigators as well as the KPK. The presence of an Islamic organization that was once good when leading the former Jakarta governor related to blasphemy after returning was judged twice failed to bring its candidates to the seat of government. They must be willing to run aground in the middle of the business.
It is not new if now FPI and CS are actively pursuing the stage after the fading of the popularity of this mass organization because of tripping over the SKT extension case. They also insisted on the 212 action so that the public would continue to remember number 212. It was also explained that this action would be located around a horse statue and a state palace although in the end the action was not attended by many supporters who were already aware.
They even showed, a letter of notification of the action had been issued. In this regard, FPI and the Cs continue to reap the controversy, because the Islamic organization is considered not to have permission after unwilling to take care of the SKT.
Then, is the letter of notification the action?
Previously, the Office of the Presidential Staff (KSP) from the Presidential Palace environment, Donny Gahral Adian, stated that he did not dispute the 212 Action plan that highlights cases of corruption in Indonesia. KSP ordered that Action 212 take place in an orderly manner.
He said he considered that this was freedom of opinion guaranteed by law. They are free to express their aspirations while doing it in polite manner and not offending SARA, and in accordance with applicable laws.
Donny said, that the Government had surrendered fully to law enforcement officials who had begun processing these cases. So that his party also entrusted the case to law enforcement officers, the police and the KPK so that they could immediately thoroughly investigate the cases and provide transparent information to the public.
In a statement sent by FPI General Secretary Munarman, this action was reportedly motivated by the initiators who felt that the handling of a number of cases had slowed and even seemed to stagnate. The initiators called for “Action 212 Eradicating Corruption Mega Save NKRI” also spoke about the circle of power.
Munarman accused the mega corruption actors of being indicated to protect between one mega corruption actor and another. He said this was seen during the OTT (Operation Catching Hands) against the commissioner Wahyu Setiawan who also involved the PDI politician P Harun Masiku. And now Harun Masiku is still at large. In addition to the KPU-Harun Masiku scandal, Munarman also highlighted a number of mega corruption cases which until now are considered to have unclear handling.
Quoting the statement of Widya Mandira Kupang University academics, Raja Muda Bataona, who stated that the fact that the 212 reunion had a political nuance was actually not surprising. Because, apart from the promises previously made, in the end the people involved in it are launching their actions in the context of the political movement.
If examined empirically, Reunion 212 actually itself is a political movement, and more specifically a political movement of right populism. This means that it has become natural if this movement is indicated by the public as a government opposition. And it was considered legitimate.
Therefore, instead of continuing to paddle on the grounds of not wanting to throw themselves into politics, Michael actually suggested that they should transform this movement into a political party. Because if they choose to fight through channels such as the mass movement, then it can have implications in determining future policy making.
If so, it is worth the two-faced designation given to them. Lazy splashed into political parties but diligently asking for forgiveness if there are issues related to government, let alone told to “mboncengi” with the purpose of certain interests. Although it is considered reasonable, personally the demonstration that will be held later is only a sensation and minimal benefits. Lah, if they care, why is the demo just now.
The other side is the demo for a long time, eh, he just appeared at the bridge of his nose. Plus there are indications of a beautiful date, ahead of the elections as well. What are their goals?
