The co-19 pandemic is not yet declared to be over, several regions in Indonesia show positive rates of the 19th sloping and more and more are declared cured. The community is expected to remain productive during the Covid-19 Pandemic while remaining safe by complying with all health protocols.

We all already know that the Corona virus has an impact that is not kidding. The number of layoffs has increased, some companies have also been forced to postpone payment of THR, so the canteen guards must keep thinking about earning income because there are no teaching and learning activities in schools.

Indonesian President Ir Joko Widodo stated that he wanted the community to be productive again in the midst of the co-19 pandemic, while remaining safe by disciplining it in implementing health protocols.

This was conveyed by the President after reviewing the readiness of the new normal standard procedures ( New Normal ) at the Sumarecon Mall, Bekasi city, West Java Province.

Although productive, Jokowi wants people to have awareness of the importance of implementing health protocols when outside the home.

On the occasion, President Jokowi was accompanied by West Java Governor Ridwan Kamil, he said the President did not open the mall, but only a simulation. He also mentioned that West Java had prepared standard procedures for a new normal life that would begin in the economic sector.

” So it should not be misinterpreted that the arrival of President Jokowi to open the mall. Ridwan Kamil said that since the PSBB was put in place, matters of food and medicine were indeed open.

President Director of PT Sumarecon Agung Tbk, Adrianto P Adhi said that he had prepared a new normal protocol. It aims to ensure security, health and safety.

According to the plan, Sumarecon Mall will be re-opened gradually on Monday 8 June. Shops that have been closed since the end of March are now preparing themselves. The staff or employees will wear masks and gloves. It aims to prevent transmission of the virus.

The government has also issued a new normal protocol ( New Normal ) for offices and industry in dealing with the Corona or covid-19 virus pandemic that is regulated in a decision of the Minister of Health.

New Normal implementation is regulated in Minister of Health Decree Number HK.01.07 / MENKES / 328/2020 concerning Covid-19 Prevention and Control Guidelines in Office and Industrial Workplaces in Support of Business Sustainability in Pandemic Situations.

However, the business world certainly cannot be limited forever, because after all the wheels of the economy must continue to run. Employees and laborers who are left for long periods of time are considered as having an effect on the economy.

This of course can be a wise decision, considering that many people need income to support their families.

In the Ministerial Decree Number HK.01.07 / MENKES / 328/2020 states, companies are required to form a Covid-19 Handling Team in the workplace consisting of leadership, staffing, Health and Safety staff and health workers that are strengthened by a decree from the workplace leader.

In addition, at the entrance of the workplace, temperature measurements are also carried out using a thermogun, and before employees come to work, the company must implement Covid-19 Risk self-assessment to ensure workers who will come to work in conditions not infected by Covid-19.

Require workers to wear masks since traveling to / from home and while at work.

Regulate the nutritional intake of food provided by the workplace, if possible workers can be given vitamin C supplements to support endurance.

The company must also ensure that all work areas are clean and hygienic by periodic cleaning using appropriate cleaners and disinfectants. This must be applied primarily to door handles, stairs, elevator buttons, as well as company equipment that is used together.

Although productivity is expected to improve the economy, companies are encouraged to negate the 3-shift system. If the system is indeed running, then work for night shift workers is done by employees who are less than 50 years old.

In addition, the most fundamental thing is, the company is required to provide a hand sanitizer with a minimum alcohol concentration of 70% in places that are needed, such as entrances, meeting rooms, elevator rooms and others.

If the protocol is implemented, not only will the economy improve, but public health will also improve, this is because workers have started healthy living habits.
