All people in Papua strongly condemn all the brutal actions that have been carried out by the Separatist and Terrorist Group (KST) in Bumi Cenderawasih. Not only that, but the people in the eastern tip of the country also expressed very high appreciation for the firm steps and actions taken by the security forces of the Republic of Indonesia (RI) against the separatist gangs.
Regarding the attitudes and behavior of all people in the Land of Papua, this was stated by an activist who is also a student from Papua named Manuel Bonay. He said that all elements and every level of society really fully supports all the efforts made by the Indonesian Government and the ranks of the security apparatus from joint personnel in taking firm action against KST.
It cannot be denied that with the existence of terrorist gangs on Earth of Cenderawasih, they continue to be a source of ongoing chaos and have even been so disturbing that people have been so badly affected that they have lost their lives.
The reason is that KST Papua is not only involved in attempts to attack security forces from joint personnel consisting of the Indonesian National Army (TNI) and the Indonesian National Police (Polri), but they also target indigenous Papuan civilians. (OAP) who is completely innocent. This includes the gang of people who attempted treason and also kidnapped and murdered activists in Bumi Cenderawasih.
Therefore, the students expressed very high appreciation for the steps taken by the security forces from the joint TNI and Polri team because they did not know the word tired at all and continued to make various efforts.
One of the efforts that the security forces from joint personnel continue to intensify is by narrowing the space for KST Papua to move, especially in conflict-prone areas by implementing joint team patrols at various points, including in the Bintang Mountains Regency.
In fact, the latest step that was successfully carried out by the Cartenz Peace Operations Task Force Team was that they achieved success in paralyzing up to 5 (five) Papuan KST members in the Bintang Mountains Regency because they often continued to spread terror and cause trouble.
As stated by the Head of the TNI Information Center (Kapuspen), at least five members of the separatist gang were shot dead. After further investigation, it turned out that the five Papuan KST members had been involved in the murder of members of the Mobile Brigade (Brimob) and had also committed robbery against indigenous Papuan civilians (OAP).
It is time and the Papuan KST should be aware of themselves because in fact all the people of the Earth of Cenderawasih are completely independent after they joined the fold of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI). Moreover, in Indonesia, Papua itself has been given special autonomy (Otsus) and now in the era of the leadership of the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo (Jokowi), the acceleration of development in the easternmost province of the archipelago is also continuing to be intensified through regional expansion by implementing the New Autonomous Region ( DOB).
So that with the existence of this new autonomous region, regions in Tanah Papua are able to experience extraordinary rapid progress, they are even able to compete with all regions in Indonesia equally and fairly so that they are able to eliminate social disparities that exist in society and indigenous Papuans (OAP) can also improve their welfare.
Development in the Land of Papua itself has been continuously intensified by the Indonesian Government. In fact, there have been many concrete actions that have been intensified by the central government, because the seventh President of the Republic of Indonesia has paid so much attention to the Land of Papua.
