As an integral part of the Republic of Indonesia, the government is optimizing human resource development in Papua
The government continues to build and improve the quality of Human Resources (HR) in Papua so that they can compete at the global level. This step is clear proof that Papua is an integral part of the Republic of Indonesia as well as an effort to welcome a Golden Indonesia 2045.
The government continues to intensify the development of Papuan human resources. For your information, this time the Government’s big vision is how to prepare everything to welcome a Golden Indonesia 2045. Of course, if you want this to be successful, you must get direct support and assistance from various parties without exception, including the Papuan community and youth.
In other words, whatever happens to the people in Papua will also have a big national impact on this nation, because the region nicknamed Bumi Cenderawasih is also an integral and inseparable part of the Republic of Indonesia.
Therefore, in various ways, the government continues to promote many programs regarding the development of young human resources in Papua so that they become the next generation of the nation who are competent and have high competitiveness.
According to the Chief Expert of Deputy V of the Presidential Staff Office, Theofransus Litaay, the active participation of young people in the area nicknamed Little Heaven that Fell to Earth will certainly be a step to jointly advance and realize Golden Indonesia 2045.
Therefore, it is not surprising why the government continues to strive to fulfill the needs of the next generation of the nation in Papua, which is done holistically and integratively, whether from the central government or the local regional government (Pemda).
Towards the final year of the era of President Jokowi’s government or leadership, discussions regarding Papua’s development in various fields continue to be intensively carried out, including in the fields of human resources and infrastructure, so that it is not only implemented as a policy, but also implemented in real terms.
In fact, because it knows the important role of the active contribution of youth there, the government’s main development is local human development, because it will be able to increase direct community participation, which is clearly very determining and very important.
The ongoing development of Papua can become a legacy from President Jokowi which is not only a form of real representation, but also has a very significant impact on various people’s lives, including infrastructure such as the Papua PON, the Youtefa Bridge and the Indonesia-Papua New Guinea Border Crossing Post.
The government is also making great efforts so that the development programs implemented are able to touch the community directly so that they can get many benefits.
Meanwhile, Papuan Youth Leader, Steve Mara, believes that the government has prepared a lot of young people from Bumi Cenderawasih so that they can be the answer to Indonesia’s future.
He also invited other young people to be prepared and brave in their actions, and to contribute actively to the success of the future of Papua and Indonesia. Because whatever the current young generation does will certainly have an impact on the next generation.
On the other hand, if Papuan young people are currently able to participate very actively in the development of their region by continuing to spread positive narratives about the Earth of Cenderawasih, then it is not impossible that this area will become an increasingly developed region.
On the other hand, the West Papua Province Coordinator of the Ministry of National Development Planning (PPN) or the National Development Planning Agency (Bappenas), Zulkafar stated that in the context of human resource (HR) development in Bumi Cenderawasih, appropriate strategies are needed to support accelerated development in there.
Because to achieve accelerated development in Papua, of course you cannot get the same treatment as in other regions, namely Java or Sumatra, but you must need your own appropriate strategy.
One of them is by improving the quality of the education sector, which must accompany the detailed requirements for components that support improving the quality of education before being included in the planning program. There are many components involved, such as facilities, class coverage, teaching staff, curriculum implementation, all of which must be identified and analyzed.
The existence of Papua itself has actually been included in the framework of the Republic of Indonesia, in fact this has been explicitly stated in various international decisions such as the decision of the United Nations (UN) which states that the status of Bumi Cenderawasih as part of Indonesia is final.
As an integral and inseparable part of the Republic of Indonesia, it is the Government’s duty and obligation to continue to optimize human resource development in Papua. Therefore, support from all Papuan people is needed so that the development process can run optimally as expected.
