Ready to Perform at the Papua Street Carnival, Papuan Youths Enthusiastically Participate in Auditions at PYCH Assisted by BIN

Thanks to the guidance carried out by the State Intelligence Agency (BIN), the young generation in Papua through the PYCH building has been very successful in being able to continue to develop their interests and talents to the fullest, which are then prepared to be able to appear in various events on Cenderawasih Earth. with the hope that it will further introduce the richness of Papuan culture in the eyes of the world.
In early July 2023, the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy of the Republic of Indonesia (Kemenparekraf RI) will hold an event titled Papua Street Carnival. It is known that the agenda will be held around the Governor of Papua’s office.
There is something that is unique and very creative, namely in the Papua Street Carnival event, there is also collaboration with the Papua Youth Creative Hub (PYCH), which is a building or center and means for youth to receive guidance from the State Intelligence Agency (BIN). ) to continue to develop their interests and talents.
It is known that in fact the entire young generation on Earth of Cenderawasih themselves are children who have a lot of extraordinary talent potential. However, they were not exposed enough because there were still no adequate facilities and infrastructure before BIN finally initiated the construction of the PYCH Building in Tanah Papua.
Since the establishment and inauguration of the PYCH Building by the President of the Republic of Indonesia (RI), Joko Widodo (Jokowi), of course, he has been greeted with a lot of support, enthusiasm and pride from all the youth in Indonesia’s easternmost province. Because in the end they can feel that there are very adequate facilities to be able to continue to support whatever is really needed by the youth, especially so that they can keep abreast of the current developments of the era which are increasingly developing rapidly.
Before the main event of the Papua Street Carnival was held, a singing audition was held, which was one of the many parts of the pre-event activity. The existence of the Singing Audition For Papua Street Carnival event also received a lot of very positive responses from the entire young generation of Cenderawasih Earth.
They enthusiastically participated in the pre-event activities, which were noted to have been attended by dozens of very talented singers from Papua. they all have very high enthusiasm to continue to be able to show their talents on stage.
Of course, the self-confidence possessed by young people in Papua cannot be separated from the kind of coaching that has been carried out by the State Intelligence Agency, especially in continuing to train young people in Cenderawasih Earth who live in the Papua Youth Creative Hub (PYCH) building. .
So that after there has been a lot of coaching and guidance that the youths have received from BIN, now all the talents and potential they already have are honed and become more mature to be ready and able to be showcased in a big show like the implementation of Papua Street. Carnival.
In fact, the process of auditioning and screening talented singers in Papua to prepare for the event itself was also not trivial, but the auditions were really carried out very strictly, leaving only 7 (seven) participants who were successfully selected to be able to continue on to The next step.
Furthermore, the 7 (seven) selected participants will then receive guidance and intensive training to further prepare themselves to perform at the main event of the Papua Street Carnival.
One of the singers announced to have made it through to the next stage is Marsanda Imbiri (21). He admits that he has very big hopes in the future so that he can continue to progress, especially to be able to be proud of the Land of Papua because he really wants to be a professional singer.
Meanwhile, another participant who passed, namely Ino Kyeukyeu (25) revealed that with the Papua Street Carnival agenda organized by the Indonesian Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy and also in collaboration with PYCH which is under the guidance of BIN, it is an event that is very capable of showing great talent. owned by young people in Bumi Cenderawasih.
With the implementation of the Papua Street Carnival event itself, of course, it is hoped that it will become a stage for the talents and talents possessed by the younger generation of Papua to continue to shine and be able to make a very positive contribution to be able to introduce culture to the tourism potential found in the Land of Papua and even to all eyes of the world.
The agenda itself has also involved many parties such as thousands of creative economy actors, hundreds of creative MSME exhibitions, fashion parades. All of them will present a variety of works and cultural heritage found in Papua. then it is also hoped that this event will be able to open up investment opportunities in the creative economy sector, have a positive impact on the local economy and further increase people’s income.
All elements of this event are designed to reflect the rich culture and traditional heritage of Papua, so that participants and spectators can feel the uniqueness and beauty of Papua. With the active participation of young Papuans, designers, artists and other creative economy actors, this event has the potential to become an annual event that is eagerly awaited and become an icon of Papuan tourism.
The Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy is also working with the Provincial Government of Papua and all parties to ensure the success of the Papua Street Carnival. Apart from that, President Jokowi has also shown great concern for the people of Papua. His government has taken various steps to improve development and prosperity in the Papua region.
Great success has been had by the PYCH Building institution which is an initiation from BIN, in which a lot of Papuan youths have been continuously educated and nurtured by the State Intelligence Agency to be able to develop their interests and talents to the fullest.
