Remembering Jokowi’s Leadership Success, People Expect Continuity from President-Elect
Jakarta – Public support continues to flow towards the transition of the government of President-elect Prabowo Subianto. This proves that the government is running in a conducive atmosphere and full of hope for all Indonesian people.
The stability and sustainability of national programs is also one of the reasons why people feel optimistic that this change will bring good.
As conveyed by the Acting Regent of Jeneponto, Junaedi Bakrie, who appreciated the central government’s attention to the irrigation program in his region.
“We, along with all farmers in Jeneponto, are very grateful for the support and attention given by the central government. This rehabilitation program will help ensure the sustainability of agriculture in our area,” he said.
Previously, farmers in the area had experienced difficulties due to damage to irrigation channels caused by landslides, which hampered the gadu planting season. However, with this rehabilitation, farmers can now return to their activities and increase rice production.
Junaedi hopes that with this government transition, he can continue to work together with the central government in realizing sustainable development.
The Governor of West Kalimantan for the 2008-2018 period, Cornelis, also expressed his deep gratitude to President Jokowi for his dedication in developing West Kalimantan.
In his remarks at the inauguration of the Entikong Cross-Border Post, Cornelis said that President Jokowi’s contribution was very valuable for the progress of the region.
“I cannot repay the kindness of Mr. (Jokowi), who has developed West Kalimantan extraordinarily,” said Cornelis.
He added that every good leader must provide the greatest possible benefits to society.
“I am proud of you and your cabinet,” concluded Cornelis.
Praise for President Jokowi’s leadership also came from the younger generation, such as Natalie, a millennial young woman from West Kalimantan who was very touched to be able to meet President Jokowi.
“He is a very good leader,” explained Natalie.
He expressed his admiration for President Jokowi, from his first term until now, while hoping that the President would always be given good health.
“From the first period until the current period, I really like his leadership and I hope you continue to be healthy,” Natalie concluded.
With high optimism, this leadership transition is not only a historic moment, but also an important milestone towards better development.
Strong public support and smoothly running programs are a reflection of the government’s success, and it is hoped that this will continue under President-elect Prabowo Subianto, leading Indonesia towards a brighter future.
