Whoever the President of the Indonesian People is the Winner, Let’s Support the Election Results
Elections must proceed procedurally and substantially. Elections are procedurally good if the prerequisites are fulfilled and the election succeeds substantially if the goal is achieved. Election prerequisites outline the freedom to choose, the realization of community participation and the arena of political competition with integrity.
The goal to be achieved with the implementation of elections is the election of leaders who become the will of the people. Trustworthy leader who is able to realize prosperity and justice and bring the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia towards a more advanced and civilized direction in the future.
The 2019 General Election that has just finished is a momentum for the people to realize their sovereignty to elect leaders and representatives of the people. A dignified and cultured election can be characterized by the realization of an honest, fair, confidential election, guaranteeing the constitutional rights of citizens both in choosing and being elected, committing to reject and fighting money politics and other fraudulent practices.
One important understanding that must be built is that elections with integrity are the most important aspect of a democratic system. For this reason, organizers must not be intimidated and must be supported and monitored so that they can carry out their duties with integrity and independence without intimidation and provocation.
Directly if the Election does not have integrity, it will have a very serious impact, which in turn triggers instability in the country’s political temperature. A number of improvements have been made in the context of realizing elections with integrity among others by improving the electoral system, electoral governance and electoral law enforcement.
However, these improvements must be continuously revised to be able to overcome the problems in realizing democratic elections in Indonesia, political education of several components of the election both the election organizers, the bureaucracy, the political participation of the public and political parties must be built so that Indonesia truly becomes a peaceful democratic country and having dignity and integrity in carrying out democratic processes, namely elections without slanderous hoaxes and intimidation and provocation of provocation in faithful contestation.
For this reason, the participation of all parties is required at all stages of the implementation of elections towards elections with integrity. Because only with elections with integrity, democracy can be increasingly trusted by citizens as a political system and process that is better than other political systems. Thus, the goal of creating good governance can be achieved with quality and integrity.
Integrity, transparency, accountability, effectiveness, participation, as well as governance and legal rules that are the core of good governance, are still hqrus teris improved from time to time. Commintments from all parties must continue to be improved to realize the implementation of each election.
One component of the country that is capable of making the 2019 Election title means and is beneficial for the survival of the Indonesian nation is the people themselves. For whoever the president is elected, the winner is the Indonesian people. Let’s support the results of the election by joining hands in order to knit back unity to continue Indonesia’s development towards the nation’s progress.
The government and the government and other components of the nation together actively provide literacy to make the Indonesian people aware that we are all brothers, although different ethnic groups, religions, races and languages, we must accept anyone who will later sit in the seat of government. From now on, it should be for the government to embrace all elements of society and foster awareness within themselves that whoever becomes president in the 2019 election, the winner is the Indonesian people … Let’s unite to support the results of the election to continue the increasingly advanced national development towards Indonesia and respected by other nations.
