Banten Youth refuses Politization and Radicalism at the Mosque

A group of Banten youth or millennials, discussing and agreeing to reject the mosque were used as a place of politicization and radicalization.
The discussion was titled The Role of Youth in Counteracting Radicism and Politicization of Mosques. Because, the mosque is a place of worship for Muslims who want peace.
Efi Afifia, said that the youth must be present to give a full translation of what Islam is, what is the function of Pancasila, what is the nationalist function. Do not let these two groups clash continuously.
Moreover, in November 2018, BIN stated that of 100 mosques in state ministries and institutions, 41 of them were exposed to radicalism.
Then, during the political year, mosques were forbidden to be a place of campaign and the delivery of political matters. So that Muslims are not divided.
He explained, until then what was damaged was the system, both the religious system, the national state, even the traditional system.
Muslims and other people are asked to put forward the relationship and sense of nationality. Don’t be easily provoked by any content that can damage the national unity.
Archipelago Collage Executive Director, Iqbal Arrojaby said, excessive fanaticism towards religion must still be based on state awareness and loyalty to Indonesian nationalism.
To all elements of society to support the movement to restore the mosque as a center of religious activity, and to call on Muslims to participate actively in maintaining and prospering mosques as places of worship to spread the good and the delivery of Islamic teachings that are rahmatan lil alamin.
