Rejecting Efforts to Thwart the Inauguration of the President and Elected Vice President

Indications of the cancellation of the Presidential Inauguration from the practice of demonstrations by students, which occurred in the last few demonstrations were also agreed by a number of parties. Responding to this matter, Menkopolhukam Wiranto said that those who would frustrate the inauguration of the President would face the security forces.
Lately we have been confronted with riots which have led to riots in various cities in Indonesia. In fact, until fatalities arise. Clashing with security forces to be a suspect in the design of rioters. Even more surprising, the latest news mentioned there are other indications of the demonstrations conducted, namely the inauguration of the President’s inauguration.
Suspicion arose when security forces discovered certain movements that deliberately infiltrated or accompanied demonstrations aimed at purely rejecting the ratification of the Law Revision. This was agreed by Former Minister of Law and Human Rights, Yasonna Laoly. He explained if this student action was used to convey destructive political interests. Yasonna hoped that the students or the protesters would remain cautious and not be carried away by misleading political agendas.
If viewed in terms of the identity of the participants of the demonstration is not 100 percent pure students. Which does not yet understand what is being conveyed to the DPR. Hopefully in this crowd there will be no party who uses the opportunity to provoke protesters to change the ratification of the revision of the Act, for example in the other direction namely the invitation to “overthrow” President Jokowi.
One real example is the invitation to bring down the post of President Jokowi by Sri Bintang Pamungkas (SBP). On September 11, 2019, which took place in front of the Parliament Building. In addition to the invitation to thwart Jokowi’s process to become President, SBP asked for the formation of a transitional government. Then for whom does this SBP work, because it is so consistent in heralding the downfall of Jokowi? Only SBP knows the answer.
The invitation of the SBP was considered very poor and included in provocation activities. So it is appealed to all elements of society so as not to be incited because it has the potential to disrupt security and political stability in the beloved archipelago. On the other hand the riots and violence that occurred became an indication of the existence of sneaks in the mass action.
In connection with that, Menkopolhukam, Wiranto said if his party would provide maximum security measures in the process of inauguration of members of the DPR and the MPR as well as the president and vice president. In fact, emphatically if there is a group or person or any party who tries to thwart the inauguration the meaning is “AGAINST CONSTITUTION”!
Wiranto also added that the inauguration of DPR and MPR members as well as the president and vice president are mandates of the constitution. The inauguration is also the culmination of the results of this 2019 election. He acknowledged that the existence of the state was indeed threatened by various unconstitutional movements. Therefore, his party will ensure the optimality of measurement in both the inauguration process.
Wiranto argued that the government had always been present in every condition and political and security situation in the country. He denied that the actions and policies of the government so far showed indifference to the community. He also stated that his party always tried to be present in any situation. He also appealed to not be influenced by other invitations that were considered negative, and to trust the security forces more.
A similar statement came from TNI Commander Marshal Hadi Tjahjanto. He stated to all parties who would frustrate the inauguration of Joko Widodo-Ma’ruf Amin as president and vice-president elected in the 2019 elections, then he would face the TNI. According to Hadi, the warning also applies to all parties acting anarchist. In addition, Hadi said that the TNI had a duty to maintain the integrity and safety of the nation. He considered that by maintaining these two things, democracy and the constitution would also stand upright.
He also stressed that the TNI would support and provide assistance to the National Police, particularly in the context of maintaining and creating security and order for the people in the territory of the Republic of Indonesia. For example when the TNI helped the National Police during the security process of the DPR or MPR during a demonstration which took place a few days ago.
Furthermore, hopefully the authorities will immediately process the SBP in order to provide clarification of his words. Do not let the SBP who submitted provocation and other people who get into trouble. Moreover, this inauguration process is the culmination of a democratic party that must be accepted legally and mentally knighted.
