The enactment of the Job Creation Law is a panacea for MSME entrepreneurs. They are greatly assisted by the government through the law, because there is an ease of regulation and the reduction of bureaucracy, so that business will develop rapidly. MSME entrepreneurs will rise and the country’s financial condition will also improve.

The Covid-19 pandemic almost collapsed economic conditions, because people’s purchasing power decreased drastically. UMKM entrepreneurs also get the sap, because they need to survive amidst uncertainty. Even though selling is their only source of income, they inevitably have to keep working even though their turnover has dropped dramatically.

To solve this complex problem, the government enacted the Job Creation Law. Why is the solution in the law, not disbursement of funds per month? Indeed, the government once gave money to entrepreneurs, as additional capital. However, if it is given per month, the worry will be spent on daily needs, not for business capital.

The government is trying to provide a hook, not fish. In the Job Creation Law, there is a positive provocation that makes MSME entrepreneurs rise again and are not sad because they have to close their businesses. Because in this law there is an MSME cluster, an ease of doing business cluster, and an investment cluster. All clusters facilitate the running of the MSME business.

Mamik Indriyani, an observer from Muria Kudus University, stated that the Job Creation Law brought fresh air for MSME entrepreneurs. The reason is because this law removes regulations that are an obstacle to the progress of the MSME business. So that if the regulation is abolished and the bureaucracy is facilitated, the small and medium enterprises will improve.

The regulation amended in the Job Creation Law is the management of business permits. UMKM entrepreneurs, who are still low-income, had difficulties when they had to pay an HO permit of at least 1,500,000 rupiah. However, nowadays, permits are changed based on the risk: high, medium, and low. So that UMKM entrepreneurs who have small risks do not have to pay HO permits.

In addition, MSME entrepreneurs only need to take care of NIB (business license number). With this legality, the government has recognized the business and can register it with the Cooperatives and SME Service. They often provide free training to add skills, so that MSME entrepreneurs will gain new skills and knowledge.

When entrepreneurs get new knowledge, their business will develop. For example, he had received training on managing finances in business. He has separated his personal and business accounts, and is no longer confused in managing his business cash flow. Because they have been taught how to do this in the training.

In addition, UMKM entrepreneurs can also interact with other businessmen in the training. He can add relationships and this is very good. Because a businessman is required to always have a wide network of friends. Because it will increase market share and can share among entrepreneurs. One day, they can also collaborate on business.

The Job Creation Law also makes it easier for investment to enter Indonesia. Foreign investors will be able to cooperate with local entrepreneurs and create new businesses. Because there are actually many local business people who have good ideas, but lack the funds to develop them. With an injection of capital from investors, he can grow his business.

For example, a shoe entrepreneur will be able to add product variants by selling bags and other items. He also shot the export market, because it already had legality and had links provided by foreign investors. The business will progress rapidly, because there is collaboration between business people and investors.

The Job Creation Law promotes UMKM entrepreneurs because there are regulations that are changed and make it easier for small business people to take steps to advance their business. They can be creative and rise again, after previously being hit by the negative effects of the corona storm. Apart from that, the entry of foreign investors can also work together with local entrepreneurs and collaborate to make the business progress.
