Choirul Fuadi, Central Kalimantan, CIDISS – Each area has a minimum wage (UMK) for workers or employees. UMK adapts to the necessities of life figure deserves (KHL) in an area.
The upcoming 2016 Kotawaringin Timur Regency, Central Kalimantan, has set the UMK worth IDR 2.168.914 per month. These figures increase to IDR 160.600 or 8% over UMK 2015.
As quote in Borneo News, Saturday, (17/10/2015), the figure is obtained after the Board of County Kotim Waging deploying session waging Board meeting on Thursday (15/10/2015) at Hotel Permata Indah of Sampit.
The agreement was signed by Chairman of the Board Kotim Bima Regency Waging Eka Wardahana and Secretary Rajendra Gatut Utomo.
“UMK Kotim set of IDR 2.008.254 and with a rise, in 2016 UMK IDR 2.168.914 in Kotim,” said Bima Eka Vardhana who is also head of the Social Department of manpower and transmigration (Dinsosnakertrans) Kotim. (*)
