Jokowi Will Inaugurate Papua Youth Creative Hub, Driving the Growth of Papua’s Creative Industry
Papua – President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) will inaugurate the Papua Youth Creative Hub or PYCH, an initiative that aims to encourage the growth of the creative industry in Papua driven by Inspiring Young Papua (PMI) assisted by the State Intelligence Agency (BIN). This was revealed by PMI Management, Kevin Baldwin Aburyaan.
According to Kevin, the Papua Youth Creative Hub will become a center for innovation and creativity for young Papuans, as well as provide opportunities for them to develop their talents and potential. He further stated that this creative center is expected to be a driving force for creative economic growth in Papua.
“We hope that the Papua Youth Creative Hub can become a center for innovation and creativity for young Papuans, as well as provide the needed support for creative industry players in Papua. We hope that this initiative can bring positive change to the people of Papua and can become a driving force for creative economic growth in this region,” said Kevin.
In addition, the Papua Youth Creative Hub is also expected to open up new opportunities for creative industry players in Papua to develop quality and innovative products and services. Thus, the Papua Youth Creative Hub will become an important factor in driving the wheels of the economy in Papua.
The inauguration ceremony for the Papua Youth Creative Hub is scheduled to be attended by President Jokowi on March 21, 2023. This creative center-based building itself has started operating since early 2023 and has received a lot of support from various parties, including the government, community organizations, and private companies.
In order to support the growth of creative industries in Papua, PMI also organizes various programs and activities such as training, workshops and exhibitions for creative industry players in Papua. This is expected to improve the quality and competitiveness of Papuan creative products at the national and international levels.
Papua Youth Creative Hub is a creative center dedicated to creative industry players in Papua. This magnificent building has been equipped with various facilities such as workspaces, recording studios, photography studios, exhibition halls, and various other facilities needed to support creative industry activities.
