The Rapimnas was attended by around 100 people, including H. Zarkasih Nur (Chairman of the PPP DPP Honorary Council), HM Romahurmuziy (Chairman of the PPP DPP Advisory Council), Ade Irfan Pulungan (Chairman of the PPP DPP Party Court), H. “One of the meeting agendas (Rapimnas) is to ensure the preparation of all PPP cadres in facing the 2024 election contestation. Meanwhile, cadres who have prepared themselves to run as members of the legislature, should prepare themselves thoroughly,” said Mardiono.

In addition, this meeting also followed up PPP’s political stance in dealing with national political dynamics, starting from the political issues of open/closed elections, the issue of postponing elections, as well as the issue of presidential candidates and vice-presidential candidates.

“This meeting also followed up PPP’s attitude in dealing with national political dynamics, starting from the political issues of open/closed elections, the issue of postponing elections, as well as issues that are of concern to many groups, namely the presidential candidates and vice-presidential candidates,” added Mardiono.

He emphasized that even though he is part of the United Indonesia Coalition (KIB), this will not interfere with PPP’s political stance in supporting a particular presidential candidate. There must be cooperation with internal and external parties for common goals for the sake of progress and mutual benefit.

Arwani also added that several names of figures had been officially declared by political parties as presidential candidates. PPP, which is currently part of the United Indonesia Coalition, must also take strategic steps so as not to lose momentum.
