When the Job Creation Law has been passed, it’s time to implement this rule. Implementation of the Job Creation Law must be carried out because it shouldn’t just be written on paper, but must actually be practiced. The application of the Job Creation Law is in the interest of the Indonesian people, because thanks to this Law, MSME permits are made easier and move the country’s economy quickly.
The Job Creation Law must be implemented in society. However, this law seems useless, if there is no implementation. There should be no application of the Job Creation Law in the field because this law was made for the welfare of the people. Its implementation must be carried out, so that people’s lives improve, after being hit by economic difficulties during the pandemic.
The Head of the North Sumatra Province Industry and Trade Office, Aspan Sofian, said that in order to achieve the objectives of the Job Creation Law, namely efforts to continue creating jobs, fulfilling the right to work and also fulfilling a decent life is a very important aspect of human development.
Aspan continued, he pushed for the implementation of the Job Creation Law to involve all elements and continue to pay attention to all aspects so that it would make it easier to carry out business licensing for the community.
In a sense, the application of the Job Creation Law is truly in the interests of the people. The law contains MSME clusters and ease of doing business clusters that will make it easier for small and medium-sized businesses. They must be assisted because 90% of traders in Indonesia are MSMEs, so saving them also helps the country’s economy.
Therefore, the implementation of the Job Creation Law must be supported by all parties. With the implementation of this law, ease of doing business will be realized, through licensing that is not complicated.
When business licensing is easier it will make people, especially MSME businessmen, more prosperous. The reason is because if they have already taken care of licensing and obtained a business license number, the business will have legal status. With this legality, banks will be more trusted to get loans with low interest.
If people with the status of MSME entrepreneurs get capital loans, they will be enthusiastic about opening their shops again, after they were almost closed due to the effects of the pandemic. They will do business and earn a good profit. This positive domino effect is expected by the government, so that the business world in Indonesia will be more lively, and move the wheels of the country’s economy quickly.
When the Job Creation Law is implemented, people don’t have to take care of expensive HO permits. However, those who do MSME business only need a business permit number (NIB). The reason is because business licensing is currently based on risk. Where MSME businesses are considered low risk and they are happy because they will get NIB quickly and don’t need complicated management.
Licensing and how to get NIB will be made easier because it is handled via OSS ( online single submission ). With a sophisticated computerized system, a business license can be issued in a maximum of 5 working days (provided that it fulfills the requirements). The speed of this permit makes people flock to take care of it. They like it because it’s very practical and only requires a strong internet connection.
Then, by managing it via online single submission , it will minimize the possibility of extortion or requests for facilitation payments from rogue elements. The people are happy because with the online system there are no more loopholes and corruption will be eradicated from its roots. They will not be afraid to apply for permits as there is no unofficial tug.
In addition, the management of business licenses is also 100% free by the government. This is a commitment and guarantee to facilitate business licensing, because the government is aware that MSME businesses have almost collapsed during the pandemic. If the permits are made free of charge, people will be motivated to get them.
Meanwhile, macroeconomic expert, Iskandar Simorangkir, stated that the government is providing ease of doing business for MSMEs. The breakthrough was made through the Job Creation Law. Efforts continue to be made so that the economy is more efficient and competitive in the global market. Indonesian MSMEs can also become part of a global value chain such as MSMEs in Japan and Germany.
With the implementation of the Job Creation Law, there is protection for people with the status of MSME actors. The MSME business will be able to absorb the widest possible workforce and reduce the number of unemployed in Indonesia.
It is the people who benefit because MSMEs are advanced and can provide job vacancies and reduce unemployment in this country. Therefore they support the implementation of the Job Creation Law, both at the central and regional levels. This law is proven to be made and implemented in the interests of the people.
The Job Creation Law is a law made for the sake of the Indonesian people because it can increase the MSME sector. With the ease of doing business cluster, people can create small and medium-level businesses and easily arrange official permits. All Indonesian people support the Job Creation Law because it improves the Indonesian economy.
