The sending of Brimob personnel to the area, namely in Oksibil, which is the capital of the Bintang Mountains Regency, Papua Mountains Province, was carried out because currently there are still many kinds of terror acts such as shootings, attacks and arson carried out by separatist gangs.

Of course, with the various kinds of acts of violence and terror carried out by KST Papua, it is absolutely impossible to allow it to continue like this, so the security forces must take action and apply very strict punishments to them. Therefore, as soon as possible, Brimob personnel were sent to help secure and restore the area.
It should also be noted that the members of the separatist gang who claim to be Kodap 35 Bintang Timur are a splinter of the KST which has also been disturbing the Kiwirok area some time ago. When the Kiwirok area was successfully secured by the authorities and returned to a conducive condition, they immediately changed to harassing the area around there, including in Oksibil.
The security apparatus from joint personnel consisting of the Indonesian National Army (TNI) and the National Police will continue to make every effort without getting tired to restore security in the Oksibil area and its surroundings and continue to enforce the law very firmly against the perpetrators.
Furthermore, the Papuan Police Chief not only emphasized that he would immediately send additional personnel from Brimob to secure the area in Oksibil from KST Papua interference, but he was also very firm and ensured that the terrorist gang never controlled the Oksibil area at all. while also denying any issues or claims circulating from KST.
How could it not be, because up to this moment, the entire area is still controlled and secured by security forces protected by the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI), so it is clear that there is absolutely no truth in the unilateral claim from KST Papua which seems to reveal that they have been monitoring the area. Of course, to be able to overcome various kinds of security disturbances there, the number of security officers on duty will also continue to be increased to be more effective in carrying out a thorough clean-up of these separatist and terrorist groups.
