Tamiang Bali Mandiri Foundation Supports WWF in Bali to Immediately Form a Water Forum
Denpasar – The Tamiang Bali Mandiri Foundation (TBM) strongly supports the holding of the 10th World Water Forum (WWF) in Bali on 18-25 May 2024, as stated by the Chairman of TBM Ir. Nyoman Baskara, MM regarding world-level forums on water issues.
According to Baskara, the Balinese people can learn a lot from how WWF discusses water issues and then translates them into policies that apply widely.
Inspired by WWF, Baskara explained, his party was moved to create a water forum in Bali, where all parties were invited to discuss the current water problems in Bali and what the condition of Bali’s water would be in the future.
“So far, concern for water issues has only been limited to the sector. “Water users are almost not involved, that water is a collective problem and at that time, if the Balinese are careless, they will no longer be able to easily get good quality clean water.”
With the existence of a water forum in Bali, it will certainly be easy to audit the water environment and find solutions so that water remains a common property.
Therefore, Baskara hopes that his party can get broader information, from what was discussed at WWF, including the latest technology in clean water issues.
Once again, said Baskara, all Balinese will definitely support WWF.
