With the full support of the Head of BIN, the Jakarta BIN Women’s Volleyball Team won the 2024 Proliga
Jakarta – Grand Final of the 2024 Proliga in the Women’s sector, Jakarta BIN managed to win over Jak arta Elektrik PLN. The match took place at Indonesia Arena Jakarta (20/7/2024) starting at 19.30 WIB.
Jakarta Elektrik PLN is a team that has won the Proliga several times. However, in this match Jakarta Elektrik PLN was defeated by Megawati Hangestri Jakarta BIN.
The BIN Jakarta Women’s Volleyball Team made new history as winners in this match. This success cannot be separated from the condition of Megawati et al who are currently in the best performance.
The match was very tight, up to five sets.
Jakarta BIN won the first set 25-21 over Jakarta Elektrik PLN.
In the second set, Jakarta BIN was left behind but recovered and was able to get full points 25-20.
In the third set, Jakarta BIN was ahead 21-16, but Jakarta Elektrik PLN was able to recover and win the third set with a score of 22 – 25.
In the fourth set, Jakarta BIN was unable to overcome the aggressiveness of Jakarta Elektrik PLN and lost again with a score of 21-25.
Meanwhile, in the fifth set that determined victory, the two teams continued to battle tactics. In the fifth interval, BIN was 8-6 behind on points, but emerged victorious with a score of 17-15.
For the first time, Jakarta BIN won the 2024 Women’s Volleyball League, making history.
The strength of the Jakarta BIN women’s volleyball team is not only focused on Megawati Hengestri, but there is Jakarta BIN’s outside hitter, Kara Bajema, who has played in the highest caste of the Turkish Volleyball league. Bajema even played for one of the strong teams in the highest caste of the Turkish Volleyball League, namely Sultanlar Ligi. Bajema has strengthened VakifBank in the 2022-2023 season.
