Community Expects AMN’s Sustainability as the Government’s Flagship Program

The Nusantara Student Dormitory (AMN) not only provides housing facilities for students, but also provides various employment facilities. Many members of the public hope for continued implementation of the Nusantara Student Dormitory (AMN) as a superior strategic program for the Government.

AMN’s existence has received appreciation from the public. This is not without reason, because the people themselves think that with AMN, it can bring many positive benefits that they can feel directly.

Therefore, because of the many positive benefits, the public really hopes for the continuation of the Nusantara Student Dormitory as one of the strategic flagship programs of the Indonesian Government through the initiation of the State Intelligence Agency (BIN).

In particular, the students also expressed high appreciation for the construction of the building that unites the younger generation, because it also has very complete facilities, so that it is not just a residential building, but also a means of establishing communication and being able to unite people from different backgrounds. behind.

The Indonesian government through the initiation of an institution led by Police General (Ret.) Prof. Dr. Budi Gunawan is indeed trying to create a means of unifying the nation, especially among young people from various backgrounds so that they can get to know each other and can learn to grow and develop together.

For information, the Nusantara Student Dormitory (AMN) itself has stood majestically and is successfully underway in the City of Heroes, Surabaya, where construction is currently continuing in Manado.

After these two locations, the State Intelligence Agency is committed to continuing or implementing sustainability by re-building in several other locations throughout Indonesia such as Yogyakarta, Makassar, Jakarta and Malang.

The public’s high hopes for the sustainability of AMN as one of the strategic flagship programs of the Indonesian Government began with President Joko Widodo (Jokowi)’s concrete response to the aspirations of as many as 50 Papuan figures at a meeting at the State Palace.

At that time, these figures conveyed to the Head of State that they fully supported the existence of the Nusantara Student Dormitory and even wanted the program to continue because it was able to act as a candradimuka crater for the entire young generation of a multicultural nation like Indonesia.

Furthermore, in AMN, young people also receive a lot of training and education which makes them have a love for the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI) and have high competitiveness even in various fields.

For the construction work itself, the government has designed the Nusantara Student Dormitory to have a variety of modern, very adequate and inclusive facilities for tertiary level students from various regions.

Head of the North Sulawesi Regional Settlement Infrastructure Center (BPPW Sulut), Nurdiana Habibie explained that AMN Manado is not only a physical building in the form of a place to live, but also a center of activities that can support the self-development of young people.

Because there are many facilities and infrastructure there, such as dormitories for men and women, then meeting buildings, multi-purpose rooms, sports fields, parks, road access and parking areas.

All students who live in AMN receive a lot of training and education about the noble values ​​of the nation as well as national leadership and national insight on a regular, programmed and ongoing basis.

The main aim of constructing this building is not only to provide inclusive housing, but also to create an environment that is able to support the academic and skills development of young people.

One simple concrete example of supporting academic and non-academic development for young people is to prevent the possibility of bullying. Apart from that, they are also able to channel their interests and talents so that their days are filled with positive activities.

In this way, the nation’s young generation does not have time to do negative things, including playing online gambling (judol) or perhaps consuming narcotics because they have had many positive activities.

On the other hand, the Director of Strategic Infrastructure, Directorate General of Human Settlements, Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR), Ir. Essy Asiah added that the existence of AMN will become a forum to further unite students from various ethnicities, languages, cultures and religions in Indonesia.

Therefore, the Nusantara Student Dormitory is a symbol of unity for young people from various backgrounds, as well as a place for them to hone their skills in many fields because it not only focuses on physical development, but is able to create an environment that really supports collaboration, creativity and brotherhood.

The Nusantara Student Dormitory (AMN) is one of the strategic flagship programs of the Indonesian Government through the initiation of the State Intelligence Agency (BIN) which brings many direct positive benefits, so that it gets support and the community really hopes for the continuation of this program.
