Observers Appreciate President Jokowi’s Government’s Success in Bringing Indonesia More Advanced
Jakarta – Director of the School of Global Strategic Studies and Economic Observer of the University of Indonesia, Athor Subroto and Political Economic Observer of Bung Karno University, Faisyal Chaniago expressed their appreciation for President Jokowi’s government for bringing Indonesia to greater progress, and the transition of government from President Jokowi to President-elect Prabowo Subianto went smoothly and will bring benefits to the community.
This was conveyed by the two observers during a dialogue on Primetime News Metro TV, Tuesday Night 24/9/2024.
“The commitment to a smooth transition from President Jokowi’s government to Prabowo’s is a good thing, then the next government must immediately bring benefits to the community, as soon as possible by directly realizing various things that have been planned,” said Athor.
Then according to Athor, during President Jokowi’s leadership, the economy in Indonesia continues to show results that continue to improve. This also received a response from the market which continued to show a positive response.
“Mr. Jokowi has such a great spirit to grow the Indonesian economy that is also responded well by the market, like it or not, in fact our numbers continue to improve. Our economy continues to improve,” Athor continued.
Athor also said that President Jokowi strongly supports the government of President-elect Prabowo Subianto because good leadership must continue.
“President Jokowi’s message to his staff to support Prabowo’s cabinet can be a market signal that he wants this transition to be successful, because good leadership must be continued, because if it cannot be continued, it will be a problem,” said Athor.
Furthermore, Bung Karno University’s Political and Economic Observer, Faisyal Chaniago, greatly appreciates the achievements of President Jokowi’s 10-year leadership which has been able to bring Indonesia more advanced.
“We appreciate President Jokowi leading the 10-year program that can be felt by all, especially downstreaming and needs to be supported by the next government,” said Faisyal.
Faisyal also said that good programs that are already running must be continued, because development is not enough for just 10 years, so a smooth transition is needed so that synergy is maintained.
“Programs that are already running, for example toll infrastructure, must not stop, because development is not enough for just 10 years, therefore it must be continuous, so it requires a smooth transition so that there is cooperation and synergy,” said Faisyal.
