Aceh – IAIN Takengon Student Executive Council (DEMA) together with AMANAH Aceh, as well as the District Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises Service. Central Aceh held an MSME seminar activity in the IAIN Takengon Campus Hall.
The activity, which was attended by hundreds of students and MSME players, was held in the form of delivering material that was very interesting and relevant to the current situation. The aim is for the younger generation to develop an entrepreneurial spirit, especially IAIN Takengon students.
President Jokowi, through the AMANAH program, continues to provide facilities for Acehnese youth so they can develop their potential in various fields in order to increase regional economic growth.
This was conveyed by the General Chair of DEMA IAIN Takengon, Alwin Rezeki, who said that this MSME seminar aims to foster innovation and understanding regarding entrepreneurship so that Acehnese young people can upgrade themselves.
“This activity is to foster a mindset to continue to innovate by utilizing local potential. “As well as providing understanding and continuing to upgrade entrepreneurs,” said Alwin Rezeki.
The seminar was also attended by competent speakers in their fields, including Taniro Jaya, S.I.Kom, MAP as Head of Cooperative and SME Empowerment and Ihsanuddin, S.T as owner of Ulunuwih Coffee.
Meanwhile, Alwin said that Central Aceh is an area with great potential in the tourism sector so it can be an opportunity for MSME players.
“Considering that this area (Central Aceh) is an area that has great potential in the tourism sector, of course there will be a lot of people coming here, this will certainly create opportunities for entrepreneurs,” explained Alwin.
The MSME assistance program carried out by AMANAH is certainly in line with the government’s grand vision, especially in terms of community economic empowerment. President Joko Widodo has long encouraged people-based economic growth by prioritizing the development of the MSME sector as a driving force for the national economy. Alwi hopes that this activity will be able to give birth to new young entrepreneurs in Aceh.
“Then with this activity (AMANAH UMKM seminar) we hope to create many new entrepreneurs who will be able to provide a lot of innovation and create jobs in the future,” he concluded.
