Ahead of the Inauguration, the Young Generation Continues to Take Advantage of Technological Innovation in the AMANAH Program in Accordance with President Jokowi’s Vision
Aceh – President Jokowi continues to show his commitment to supporting the young generation to develop, especially in the field of technology. One concrete manifestation of this support is through the Aneuk Muda Aceh Unggul Besar (AMANAH) Program, which participates in the 2024 Innovative Product Creative Expo (IPCE) exhibition. The AMANAH program facilitates Aceh’s young generation to work and innovate by displaying technology products at the event .
UIN Ar Raniry Student President, Irfan Rahmad Ghafar, expressed his appreciation for the AMANAH program which he said had broadened students’ horizons in the field of technology. “With AMANAH, fellow students can have broader knowledge about innovation. Whatever is exhibited here can be used as material for consideration so that friends are more enthusiastic about innovation,” he said.
One of the highlights of the AMANAH Booth at this exhibition is the display of humanoid robots and remote-controlled robot vehicles. Visitors, including UIN Ar Raniry students, were given the opportunity to directly operate the robots. “Visitors can see the exhibition of humanoid robots and vehicle robots directly, and even try operating the robots at the location,” added Irfan.
Apart from that, AMANAH’s young people also demonstrated several mobile tools and applications that are still in the development stage. Irfan hopes that AMANAH’s participation in IPCE 2024 can open up opportunities for wider collaboration between UIN Ar Raniry and AMANAH to develop technology in Aceh. “I hope that AMANAH’s participation in this expo will open up wider collaboration and be able to develop the technology sector in Aceh,” he concluded.
The AMANAH program, which is directly supported by President Jokowi, also plays an important role in the development of environmentally friendly technology. As part of efforts to reduce dependence on fossil energy, AMANAH has succeeded in producing 17 young certified mechanics who are able to convert fossil fuel motorbikes into electric vehicles.
CEO of PT Braja Elektrik Motor, Yoga Uta Nugraha, who was the mentor for the training, stated that the electric vehicle technology ecosystem in Aceh was starting to form well. “The foundation built by AMANAH is very strong and ready to make Aceh become the center of electric vehicle technology in Indonesia,” said Yoga.
With these various achievements, the AMANAH Program not only develops young talents, but also plays a major role in encouraging green technology and innovation in Aceh.
