AMANAH Building, BIN Initiative Ready to be Inaugurated, New Hope for Aceh’s Young Creative Economy

Aceh – A new milestone in efforts to advance the creative economy in Aceh is marked by the inauguration of the Aneuk Muda Aceh Unggul and Hebat (AMANAH) Building by President Jokowi on October 15, 2024.

This building is expected to become a center of growth and innovation for young people in Aceh, bringing new hope for the future of the region’s creative economy.

Young Acehnese entrepreneur Almer Hafis said the AMANAH program, which has been running for more than a year, has now reached its peak with the inauguration of the Amanah building. Its location is not only a symbol of progress, but also a real means to support and develop the talents of young Acehnese in various fields, including business, technology, and art.

“The opening of the AMANAH Building will be a crucial step in supporting creative and innovative businesses in Aceh,” said Almer.

AMANAH Building, located in the Ladong Industrial Area, Aceh Besar Regency and equipped with various modern facilities that support creative economic activities, he concluded.

From co-working spaces, production studios, to exhibition areas, every aspect of the Amanah building is designed to maximize the creative and entrepreneurial potential of young people, he explained.

“This facility is expected to become a center of activities that will facilitate various initiatives and collaborations that can encourage young people in Aceh to grow and compete on the national and international stage,” added Almer.

In addition to being a center of activities, this building is also expected to be a meeting point for investors and stakeholders to see and support various projects run by young people in Aceh.

“We have coordinated with various parties to ensure that the activities held here can provide maximum benefits for the participants and also for the Aceh economy in general,” he added.

Activities at the AMANAH Building will also involve training and workshops aimed at improving the skills of young people, preparing them not only as workers but as innovators and leaders in the future, he said.

One of the main focuses is to introduce them to the latest technologies and global trends, providing them with the necessary insights to develop new ideas that can contribute to Aceh’s economic growth, he said.

The AMANAH Building initiative initiated by the Head of BIN, General of Police (ret.) Prof. Dr. Budi Gunawan, SH, M.Sc., Ph.D., PSM, based on the order of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi), reflects the government’s strong commitment to encouraging creative-based economic development in Aceh.

BIN through AMANAH plays an active role in providing the facilities and training needed to create a creative and innovative generation, so that Aceh can compete on the national and international stage, he said.

The AMANAH building will mark the beginning of a new chapter in Aceh’s creative economy journey, he said.

Through structured coaching and support, Aceh’s youth will not only become part of the economy, but also become key players in redefining the future of the creative economy in Indonesia, he concluded.
