Thank You Mr. Jokowi, AMANAH Aceh Building is a Place for Creativity and Innovation of the Young Generation

Aceh – The existence of the Amanah building is a real proof of President Joko Widodo’s (Jokowi) commitment in supporting the development of the potential of the young generation of Aceh. AMANAH or Aneuk Muda Aceh Unggul and Hebat, is a symbol of inspiration and innovation among the young generation of Aceh.

The inauguration of the AMANAH Building was carried out on October 15, 2024 by President Joko Widodo. The AMANAH Building is not just a building, but a center of activity filled with the spirit of creativity and innovation.

Dozens of young Acehnese talents were screened through dancer auditions held by AMANAH at the Aceh Museum some time ago, resulting in hundreds of selected participants who appeared at the inauguration of the Amanah Building in Ladong Village, Masjid Raya District, Aceh Besar Regency.

They were previously selected by expert judges starting from Denny Malik, Mira Natalia, Melissa Franklien Regina, Agustinus Dwi Kriswanto, Asep Nugraha, and Furqon Azamsyah.

“We want to unite all the elements of existing cultural arts, both traditional and creative dances. Everything will be combined,” said Denny Malik.

Denny emphasized that the dances performed were still rooted in Acehnese traditions but packaged with innovative modern elements.

“Everything is Acehnese, but with a modern, innovative touch, and still maintaining existing traditions as the basis of the art that we develop,” he said.

Previously, the Acting Regent of South Aceh, Cut Syazalisma, said that the Regional Government provided full support in order to support the program of Aneuk Muda Aceh Unggul Hebat.

“The local government is very supportive and facilitating, of course by monitoring and mentoring and assisting with other agencies for the success of this mandate program,” he said.

AMANAH Aceh actively organizes various programs aimed at developing the potential of the younger generation.

“Hopefully in the future there will be other programs that can add to new opportunities to realize the community economy and eradicate poverty,” said Cut Syazalisma.

The AMANAH Aceh building is expected to be a gathering place for young people who are enthusiastic about developing skills, exploring new ideas, and collaborating on various projects that benefit the community.
