Inaugurating Amanah Building, President Jokowi Impressed by Innovation and Creativity of Acehnese Youth
ACEH — President Joko Widodo expressed his admiration for the innovation and creativity of Aceh’s youth.
This was conveyed by President Jokowi when inaugurating the Amanah Building in Ladong Aceh, Tuesday 15/10/2024.
“Today I am truly amazed by the innovation, the creativity of the young people in Aceh who I see are very creative and innovative, whether in fashion, especially Muslim fashion, design, it is truly very classy,” said President Jokowi.
According to him, Acehnese youth have superior potential to compete and compete with other countries.
“Our key is how we can create superior human resources, so that we can compete with other countries,” said President Jokowi.
“I really appreciate the initiative from BIN (State Intelligence Agency) which has prepared this, and we hope that in all provinces there will be Creative Hubs like this,” said President Jokowi.
Meanwhile, the Head of BIN, Prof. Dr. General of Police (Ret.) Budi Gunawan said that the AMANAH Youth Creative Hub was the brainchild of President Joko Widodo for young people in Aceh.
“His order was given directly when he inaugurated the Papua Youth Creative Hub in Papua, at that time he was accompanied by the President-elect, Mr. Prabowo Subianto,” he added.
“This shows that President Joko Widodo’s love for young people, both in the eastern and western parts of Indonesia, is extraordinary,” he concluded.
“Until now, 20,256 Acehnese youth have been registered as members of AMANAH,” explained Budi Gunawan.
“We should all be proud, earlier the President has seen directly the products produced by AMANAH, all of them have competitive advantages. Patchouli products as superior products, the quality of Aceh patchouli is the best in the world,” he said.
“Large perfume producers rely heavily on patchouli from Aceh, and specifically at AMANAH, the buyers already exist and the market goes directly to France as the world’s perfume center,” he said.
“In addition, with the presence of AMANAH, Aceh coffee can live again with markets for Korea and Japan. To meet the needs of rice in West Aceh and East Aceh Districts, it is no longer necessary to depend on neighboring provinces, but can be cut for the supply chain to be carried out directly in the district,” said Budi Gunawan.
“Meanwhile, electric vehicles and motorcycle workshops with Grade A level and in accordance with the regulations can be directly processed for their legality at Samsat,” he said.
“Fashion products and MSMEs are also the same, clothes and bags as the President witnessed earlier, there have been orders from Japan and the Middle East to Europe,” he explained.
“Export quality agriculture with smart agriculture methods, very precise fertilization, and at the same time the harvest can be used to fulfill the Free Nutritious Meals program, a program from Mr. Prabowo and Mr. Gibran,” he said.
“The fiber ship is lighter than the market made of wood, and its range is further and stronger, the fertilizer spreading drone equipped with a fertilization algorithm and its spare parts have been made by the AMANAH youth technology workshop,” he said.
“Robotics is also like that, we should be proud that through AMANAH in Aceh it has begun to be introduced from elementary, junior high and high school levels. Packaging is also like that, all of its components have been made at AMANAH which is a very effective breakthrough step in cutting the supply chain of Aceh’s youth to reduce production costs that have so far been supplied from outside Aceh,” he said.
“This is all thanks to the concern of Mr. Joko Widodo, thank you sir, we represent the voices of aspirations from the youth of Aceh,” concluded Budi Gunawan.
