ACEH — The President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo, inaugurated the Central Building of the Aceh Youth for Excellence and Greatness (AMANAH), on Tuesday (15/10).
This is an important step in efforts to develop human resources in Aceh Province.
The Head of State expressed his high appreciation for the initiative of the State Intelligence Agency (BIN) in improving the competence of the nation’s human resources, especially the young generation of Aceh.
President Jokowi said that the key to competing with other countries is superior young human resources.
“Our key is how we can create superior human resources, so that we can compete with other countries,” he said.
Furthermore, the Head of State admitted that he was very impressed with the many innovations and creativity of Aceh through AMANAH and BIN’s guidance.
“Today I am truly amazed by the innovation, by the creativity of young people in Aceh who I see are very creative and innovative,” he said.
With optimal management of natural resources, it is not impossible that Aceh will gain added value many times over compared to just exporting raw products.
Furthermore, President Jokowi appreciated BIN’s initiative in developing the Creative Hub in Aceh and hoped that there would be similar programs in other provinces.
“I really appreciate the initiative from BIN (State Intelligence Agency) which has prepared this, and we hope that in all provinces there will be Creative Hubs like this,” he said.
Meanwhile, the Head of BIN, Prof. Dr. General of Police (Ret.) Budi Gunawan also appreciated President Jokowi’s leadership.
“President Jokowi is the president with the best approval rating in the world to date, I think it is not an exaggeration, because you have truly built and spread development in Indonesia, not only Java-centric,” he said.
The success of AMANAH’s development cannot be separated from the contribution of President Joko Widodo who has absorbed and represented the voices of Aceh’s youth.
“All the progress they have made is the fruit of the success of young people that can be obtained as a charity from President Joko Widodo,” said the Head of BIN.
