CIDISS – Recently, public is very noisy talking news about mr Sodimejo or Mbah Gotho which has age of 146 years old. Mbah (Grandfather) Gotho is a man from Sragen, Central Java, Indonesia who called as World’s oldest human being. According to data in his identity card, Mbah Gotho was born on 31 December 1870.
On his age of 146 years old, he often spent his time by smoking cigarette while sit on a chair in his verandah house. His body does not draw oneself up anymore. His skin is also wrinkled. But, He is very enthusiasm to tell about his life. He does not listen well anymore, and then it makes everyone who talk to him speaks loudly.
Today, Mbah Gotho is lived with his grandson, Suryanto (46 years old). In daily life, he can do anything by his self, such eat and drink. But, he needs assistance while goes to bath room.
The story of Mbah Gotho was very noisy talked in media, both domestic and foreign. Such as in Brilio.net, stated that some foreign media also take a part in talked about Mbah Gotho. In Indepent news, the story about Mbah Gotho has title as World’s oldest human being discovered in Indonesia at the age of 145′. There is also Telegraph, DailyMail, and Mirror talked about Mbah Gotho. They mentioned mbah Gotho is someone who want to die soon.
In some media in foreign country such Poland, Nigeria, Japan and India also display the image of Mbah Gotho who now lived in Ceeng Village, Sambungmacan district, Sragen, Indonesia. They make it as headline news.
But, IBTimes and Mirror claims that the story about World’s oldest human being for Mbah Gotho need verification, then Mbah Gotho can be written in Guinness World Record as World’s oldest human being.
