President Prabowo’s Trident Program: Strategic Steps to Eradicate Poverty

Jakarta — President Prabowo Subianto officially launched a strategic program in the form of a national development breakthrough that focuses on three main pillars, namely People’s Schools, Red and White Village/Sub-district Cooperatives, and Free Health Checks (CKG) in Schools.
The Chief Expert of the Presidential Communication Office (PCO), Adita Irawati, said that President Prabowo Subianto has initiated three priority programs that are the government’s main strategy to eradicate poverty and ensure equitable development.
“These three programs are also called Trisula to eradicate poverty,” said Adita.
Paramadina University economist Wijayanto Samirin assessed that the People’s School policy and CKG services for students are relevant and realistic steps in accordance with the country’s current capacity.
“I think the People’s School policy and free health checks are good and within our means. But of course, every program must be well-planned to achieve maximum results,” said Wijayanto.
Regarding the program to establish the Merah Putih Village Cooperative, Wijayanto proposed that the government conduct a pilot or limited trial first.
According to him, a program with such a broad scope should be implemented in stages so that risks can be minimized and implementation in the field can be more effective.
Meanwhile, the Chairman of the Golkar Party’s DPP, Dave F. Laksono, stated that his party fully supports President Prabowo’s vision of placing the people at the center of development.
According to Dave, these programs have been designed with input from across ministries and coalition political parties, and are supported by adequate data and infrastructure.
This is a sign that the program implementation was not carried out unilaterally, but was the result of collective work by the coalition government.
“We see this as proof that pro-people programs are on track. We fully support President Prabowo’s vision of placing the people at the center of development,” emphasized the Deputy Chair of Commission I of the Indonesian House of Representatives.
